Homemade Face Mask for Glowing Skin

In today’s world when everyone wants to look presentable, having a good skin always helps. It not only makes you feel good about yourself but also boosts your self-esteem too.

We all are well aware of the factors that contribute to skin problems. So without going into all those details yet again let’s focus ourselves on few homemade masks that will help us all achieve that glowing skin tone easily.

Almond Face Mask

Soak 3-4 almonds (according to the area on which to be applied may be used for other parts of the body as well) in the milk. At night mash these almonds in the milk you can use some more milk. Mash it to form very fine paste. Apply to the face. Leave for whole night. In the morning wash face with cold water. With this face mask your skin becomes lighter as well as glowing. This homemade remedy for getting fair and glowing skin also leaves your skin smooth and silky.

Cucumber and Lime Juice Face Mask

Mix 1 tablespoon cucumber juice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, 1 teaspoon turmeric and 1 teaspoon glycerine (if you have dry skin, otherwise skip it) in a bowl. This mask will have a runny consistency so you need to apply it with the help of cotton balls on your face (can be applied under and around eyes also). Leave it for about 15 minutes and then wash off with cold water. For best results use this face mask daily for a week. Cucumber has great skin lightning effect and it helps in healing the sunburn too.

Gram Flour Face Pack

Take 1 tablespoon Gram flour (Besan), 1 teaspoon lime juice, 1 teaspoon turmeric. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and add little rose water in it to make a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and leave it till it dries off completely. Wash off with cold water. This homemade face mask leaves the skin smooth and glowing and can be used on all skin types.

Apple-Face-Mask

Cucumber and Watermelon Face Mask

Take 2 tbsp cucumber juice, 2 tbsp watermelon juice, 1 tsp yogurt and 1 tsp milk powder. Mix all the intergradient in a glass bowl to make a smooth paste. Then apply it on your face for about fifteen minutes. Wash off with cold water. Moisturise your face as usual. Watermelon acts as a toner and helps in clearing the skin. Cucumber juice is well known for its skin lightning effect. Yogurt softens and tightens the skin. Milk powder helps in cleansing the skin and lightening the skin tone apart from acting as a act as a binding agent.

Bread Crumbs Face Mask

Mix few bread crumbs with sufficient milk cream (malai) and keep it for 2 minutes, so that bread crumbs soften a bit. Now rub them on your face in circular motion. Let this face mask stay on your face for about 15 minutes before washing it off with normal water to get a fair and glowing skin.

Wash-Your-Face-Regularly

Chiroinji (sunflower seeds) Face Mask

Soak 3 tbsp chirongi (sunflower seeds) in sufficient milk overnight. Grind it in the morning and mix a few strands of saffron in it. Apply this face mask daily. This face mask is excellent for making darker skin fairer and glowy.
