Homemade Herbal Tonic For Healthy and Beautiful Skin

Homemade Herbal Tonic For Healthy and Beautiful Skin

I have prepared a super tonic for beautiful and healthy skin. I would like to share it with IMBB.

Homemade Herbal Tonic For Beautiful Skin

All you need for this wonderful recipe is:

1. Neem leaves (Azardicta indica) – one handful.

Neem

2. Guava leaves (tender)- 8 to 10 leaves.

Guava Leaves

3.Tulsi leaves- one handful.

Tulsi

Step-by-Step Procedure To Make Herbal Skin Tonic:

    • Put all the leaves in a bowl with 500 ml of water.

leaves

    • Grind and mix the leaves using hands (sometimes, I use a mortar and pestle).  You can also use a mixer, but hands are indeed enough).  Keep this mixture overnight.

Herbal skin tonic

    • Next morning, strain and squeeze it hardly using hands. If you wish to store it for a couple of days , then use a sieve.  The mixture will look like this.

Herbal tonic

  • Wash your cleansed face using the tonic liberally.

You may keep this in a refrigerator and use it for a couple of days.  It can also be used with face packs as a solvent.  You can transfer this to a spray bottle and spray it directly on your face and feel refreshed.

How This Herbal Tonic Works?

The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties of neem leaves keeps your skin free of acne and other infections. The astringent property of guava leaves keeps your skin tight and wrinkle free. It works well for pimples too.  Tulsi imparts the glow to your skin and keeps it healthy.

Everybody should try this. Its very easy and less time consuming as well.  You will notice the change within two weeks. Your skin will turn visibly healthy. You can prepare this in appropriate quantity and store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Wash your face at least twice with this natural tonic.  However, this tonic is a little bitter and that’s the only con of using this herbal homemade skin tonic.

  1. Rati, thank you so much, I was just wondering if I have to dig into the kitchen for some natural remedy and here it is…may GOD BLESS YOU … have a great day and a wonderful week ahead. :puchhi:

    1. Btw Sanjeev, do you work for totalgadha or something? I used to go on that site all the time for my CAT prep and I recognized the logo on your avatar 🙂

        1. Rati..

Wow..!!! I didnt know you give CAT sessions as well. I am super impressed by you yaar. Are you an MBA too? Fir Make-up kahan se aaye? 😉 😉

Btw, I am looking for a foundation. I am slightly dark in complexion. what color should I go for?

              1. 😀 well, I managed an 89.something percentile in CAT and got through to IMT Nagpur, so I was happy about TG’s help! (I didn’t join it but that’s a different story :P) That’s a really inspiring story, Sanjeev, and I’m glad both of your efforts paid off 🙂 Haha Dagny ma’am 😀

                  1.  Anytime!! But you’ll have to tell me when you post it only then i will be able to do it 😛
Waise it’s rather ironic ki I work in travel yet don’t have the time to travel anywhere :headbang: :headbang:

            1. okay. sure. also, where can I find Rimmel lipsticks in Delhi? i am coming to Del in Jan so would want to buy few things like Rimmel or Mac ka lipstick. A&N mein kuch nahi hai.. 🙁

    1. Hi Surabhi, yes it is us on Totalgadha.com. We started TG in 2006 and managed it until last year. In 2007 we started TathaGat, TG’s classroom program for CAT, with our partners:
      http://totalgadha.com/mod/resource/view.php?id=1160

Rati started IMBB in 2009.. then I also shifted here. TG is now managed by Tathagat team. Rati is is out of CAT coaching but I am still a CAT trainer. In fact, just coming back after taking classes for the whole day 🙂

      1. This is amazing 🙂 you guys must be so busy always because of running these two sites!! And thanks guys cuz TG helped me a lot during my CAT prep days 😀 although eventually I left the idea of doing an MBA. (I HATE maths lol)

      2. Sanjeev,

So good to know that. Even better to know that you support your wife in her endeavors. My hubby’s name is Sanjay and even though he is a high ranking government official, he is still always there to support me in whatever I do. Its good that our society is maturing. 🙂

Btw, I am now confused. Tathagat is managed by TG, Rati is out of CAT coaching.. then does this mean you both are on IMBB full time? Sorry if I am sounding too intruding but since I now actively write for IMBB and hope to become a full time member of the community, I am just curious to know. 🙂

        1. Hi Surabhi,

I manage three companies actually, Tathagat, TG.com and IMBB. Previously Rati and I used to write articles on TG.com and solve problems but now we have people in Tathagat to do that so my job is just to oversee things. Rati has shifted from managing TG.com to running IMBB.

So Rati is full time on IMBB and I keep hopping between three things. 🙂

          1. Oh ok.. nice.

So, you are a serial entrepreneur. 😉

You know.. aaj hi I and Sanjay were looking into HBS (Harvard) and realized that entrepreneurs have a high chance of getting selected. So you see.. just in case if Harvard is gonna be your next stop.. 😉

      1. 😀 ooh aspiring for CAT huh? TG was my haunt when I was preparing so wanted to ask Sanjeev if he was from there! Good luck 🙂

    1. Happy to hear that you will try this…………………..This is my first review on IMBB………Now I am more encouraged to post reviews…………….I may come up with more attractive beauty recipes……………………Thanks a lot to Rati, for considering my review…………………….. :puchhi: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

  8. @ SaneevJi and Rati Di: OMG!! WOW….i always wondered what you did….I could gather that you were Entrepreneurs,….but didnt know u were the ppl behind TG…..you are my new role models now ,SERIOUSLY! :jaiho: :jaiho: I am an engineer aspiring for an MBA(appearing in GMAT in 2012) AND I wanna be an entrepreneur one day….oh and I love my make -up  wow wow wow….I cant stop WOWing….. :yahoo: :yahoo:

    1. Thank you oopsii 🙂

If you wish to be an entrepreneur always start with two things- find something that you love to do and gather good people around you. Both are equally important. If you are not enjoying what you are doing you’d start hating your life. And good people have positive energy about them that will always carry you through. Rest of the things will automatically happen. 🙂

      1. i just read the ‘about us’ in TG..pretty cool. my husband is a computer engg too from Pune and he is also maha enthu abt starting something but like u said you need to have good ppl who share the passion to do the same thing else its just 1 person doing all the work and thats obviously no good..

  9. Awesome!!! I’m definitely trying this and showing it to my friends! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Thanks soooo much Jyothi! :teddy: :puchhi:

And Sanjeev ji…Thank you for discussing all that in the comments section. :jaiho: My dream career is different but now I’m sure of what I want to do with my life. And I’m bursting with the energy I’m sure I’ll need to get it all done. :happydance: :happydance: So,thanks again. :)) :)) I can’t wait to talk to my Ma about this. :jiggy1:

    1. I am so happy………….You all are really nice …………..I am so surprised to see all your comments……………This will surely work against all kind of bacterial and fungal infections that causes acne and other similar problems………………………Neem, Tulsi and guava fight against free radicals which may persist in our skin due to the continuous use make ups and cosmetics……..Enjoy this natural tonic…………… All the best

  10. Thanks for the recipe Jyothi. Must try.

Rati and Sanjeev – seriously congrats to both of you! U guys are really inspiring :yahoo:

(sorry that smiley is so cute I use it everywhere)
