How To Grow Long Eyelashes With Castor Oil: DIY

Hello My Beautiful People,

“On her first day of filming, they took one look at her and said: “Get that girl off the set – she has too much eye make-up on, too much mascara.”  So, they rushed her off the set and started rubbing at her eyes with a moist cloth to take the mascara off.  And lo! They learned that she had no mascara on. She has a double set of eyelashes.  Can anyone take a wild guess about whom I am talking about?

It is about the “Elizabeth Taylor.” She was known to have extra row of eyelashes due to genetic mutation. She was one of the lucky ones to have this defect turned into her favor 😛 The effect of the luxurious lashes, also known as an “accessory row,” was entirely captivating, framing Taylor’s deep violet eyes, and only adding to what admirers called her “incandescent” beauty.

So, as eye-opener-Eyelashes have such vital role? Yes, they do. Anne Bancroft had lured Dustin Hoffman with her own set of alarming lashes

Growing long, luscious lashes is considered an element of beauty. In fact, women spend millions each year in U.S. on eyelash products, all with the aim of making lashes thicker and longer.

I thought of sharing my tip which my mom had used on me at a very young age, which is of castor oil and vitamin E.  (You can get this anywhere at an Indian store for around $3).

How To Make Castor Oil + Vitamin E Potion:

    • Take a used empty mascara bottle. Make sure its cleaned thoroughly of all the mascara with soap solution (let it sit overnight).
    • We want to make sure our used mascara bottle is cleaned up well so we don’t have any traces of chemicals in it.
    • To this clean bottle, pour in castor oil.
    • To this, add 5-6 drops of Vitamin E (you can get this from Walgreens/CVS or order online) into the mascara bottle.

Castor Oil for Thick Eyelashes

  • Mix the oil and vitamin E oil with help of mascara wand.
  • Apply this combination starting from base of eyelashes combing it through to the tip every night.

Also, you can apply this to your brows.

Within a month, you can see healthier darker lashes.

I have used this mix for years, and here is a picture of my lashes.

(I have applied mascara, so that my camera can pick up the lashes clearly for my readers to see).

To my older lovely ladies, age might have taken its toll, and thinned out your lashes in the last few years, but have no fear and worry no more, use this lovely potion and Voila!

So, everyone, be it teenagers or grandmas, you will have lashes that would make a llama jealous.

Have a wonderful week 🙂

Lovely eyes! I also use castor oil regularly on my eye lashes and also on scalp. It actually promotes growth of lashes and hair. My mom had thin hair but she got benefit from castor oil despite the age. I heard castor oil is good for skin also but I never had courage to use on my already oily skin.I also fear having lots of facial hair after topucal use.

i got acne prone skin that’s why never tried those Vit-e capsule contents on my skin! I however used castor oil for Oil cleansing method at home and it went well because that was winter.

Along withcastor oil and coconut oil,add few drops of pepermint oil,as it stimulates hair follicles:-) make sure you massage oils onto ur scalp and root and leave it overnight.do this twice a week for 6-8weeks and seethe difference. Also, jamaican black castor oil is xcellent for thinning hair.
Hope this helps:-)
