It was a fine friday for a few IMBB members in Mumbai, for a a number of reasons
1.Our very own Mumbai gal HD had won on 500 Posts Celebrations
2.Rashmi (Our resident MAC queen) and HD had decided to meet, and I had beeninvited the join in. (The fact that they were meeting hop, skip and jump away from my residence was added bonus. God bless them)
3. And yes, Rashmi discovered a new MAC outlet she had no idea existed in the city of Mumbai.

Anyways, we met up at Phoenix Mills, I had to tag along my little boy (who was more than happy to be out of the house and getting a taxi ride). Rashmi had just come out of Lancome, glowing and happy with her new goodies and HD
was there standing with Rashmi, slender and tall (both in colour co-ordinated outfits, I felt so left out 
). Anyways, after they aahed and ooohed over my brat a little, we decided to get down to the serious business of makeup shopping. We took ourselves to MAC, where we ,very generously loosened our purse strings. HD checked out both the Sheer pressed powder and Mineralize Skinfinish natural on her face. HD has lovely skin so she didnt need coverage as such. While the Sheer powder gave her a very matt finish , the Mineralize one was a very natural look. So she finally bought
Mineralise Skinfinish.

I picked up the blush in Sunbasque, my second MAC purchase and first blush. One which I’ll probably be using for many years to come .
Rashmi picked up some nice eye shadow colours, of which she’s already done a tut on her blog. (She really has pretty eyes.)
After that, we went check out Nature’s Co. which was on the same floor as MAC just to look around. Then just when we decided to eat something Rashmi got called away on a small emergency. So HD and I hung around, had coffee…
gave my son a toy train ride , I bought the The Body Shop strawberry polish (finally) and the KAYA hair tonic for my hairfall problem. I wanted to pick up some Maybelline ColourSensational lipglosses, but unfortunately the lifestyle counter just had some 3 shades available – none of which I liked.

Anyways I’m really glad I got to meet Rashmi and HD, (can you believe this was the first time I actually did makeup shopping with other women) and I throughly enjoyed the little time we spent together. Both Rashmi and HD are sweethearts, and I’m thrilled I made 2 new friends, thanks to Rati & IMBB.

Hey Lavanya the MAC store is at Khader Nawaz Khan Road in Chennai. Opp to Taj Coramendel and next to the Espirit store.

You need to go inside the road. It is not on the main (not visible from Taj).

Yes Lavanya once you enter KN Road u can spot the Espirit show room to ur right and MAC right next to it.
Thank you thank you thank you so so so so much Aarthi and Ame :yes: I have got my first MAC pdt. I got the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. I tried their Mineralize Satinfinish but it was way too shimmery for me for daily use. The SA suggested this shade for me and it seemed to blend well :beauty: . I have to try it witj my own hands and brush to see how it comes out :-/ . But on the whole am happy to own a MAC product
satinfinish is not for oily skin.
Good you didn’t pick it up. Cogos for minearlize skinfinish. hope you enjoy using it.

Infact i didnt even feel like I was with someone whom I am meeting for the first time…the warmth and connection was as if we are old friends…..but tht we are…atleast here….its just that we were meeting for the first time!!!
Now I cant wait to meet Rashmi and Renuca again and other IMBB friends too whn we get a chance!!!
It is sometimes strange to believe how close we feel to some ppl whom we have met through a source like the internet and not even met once in the real world…But I was soo glad to translate this friendship from the internet world to the real world
