Hi friends
After seeing all your wonderful entries, I also decided to send in my entries. My collection of ethnic wear is not as expansive as most of you guys, but here is a small collage of some sarees and suits I have worn on different occasions. I have used simple makeup with ponds tinted moisturiser in sheer rose as base, lakme instaliner eye liner, loreal sun kissed duo bronzer as eye shadow and blusher, lotus kajal, bindis, maybelline chai latte and diamond quartlet as eye shadows.
This is the description – begininning from Top left : deep maroon and green salwar suit designed by me using maroon and god chanderi cloth with cotton lycra churidaar (not seen in pic) about Rs 1500 in all, two pics of the black chanderi saree i wore at a friend’s wedding price Rs 2800, a deep mauve paithani Maharastrian saree with gold zaree border Rs 5800, blue chiffon saree with antique golden zari work Rs 1800, red black and white animal print saree with black sequinned border Rs 1800, Red and magenta crepe saree with loads of antique zari work and blue, white and red swaroski … designed by me and costing about Rs 7800, black kurta with mantra print and orange churidaar mix and match for Rs 559 and Rs 449 respectively.
