Hello sweethearts,

Product description:
Highly concentrated loose colored powder that ranges from subtle to ultra-intense effects depending on application. The product contains sponge gourd oil and almost 90% pure pigment. Can be mixed with DURALINE to create liquid forms of all pigment colors. Please note: Pigments are sold by weight, not volume. Containers can appear to be less than full due to settling of the product.

Price and quantity:
INR 1000 for 2 grams of product (even expensive than M.A.C pigments quantity wise).

Shelf life:
18 months from the date of manufacturing.

My experience with Inglot #37 AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow:

Packaging:
These loose pigments come in a high quality plastic see-through jar which helps in easily locating the shade that one is looking for. It has a black screw lid which fits the jar snugly and thus, makes the product quite travel-friendly. Also, on the bottom of the jar is a sticker which has all the details (like shade#, quantity and shelf life) written on it. The packaging is overall quite sturdy and sophisticated.

Texture and pigmentation:
I have tried using this pigment in two ways which is wet and dry. When I used it in the dry form, it felt a bit gritty at first but soon settled down when blended. Also, it was comparatively less pigmented in that way and applying eye liner afterwards was quite a task. However, when I used it with a teeny bit of water it glided on almost effortlessly, blended in a jiffy, looked much smoother, intense and applying eye liner became a lot easier.

So, I suggest all you beauties to apply it wet if you happen to have it or decide to buy it in future. When used with a primer and in wet form, it didn’t crease or fallout. However, when I used it dry, it got scattered on my face and I somewhat resembled a Christmas tree ornament. I suggest that you keep a fan brush ready in case, you wish to use it dry. The pigment looks gritty and chunky in the jar but, is quite opposite on lids. Also, it is not like some other pigments that are so lightweight and powder-like that they float in air (I know its lame but, trust me I have noticed that).

Shade:
A muted golden shade that settles to a metallic finish on lids. It has golden and brown shimmer (with golden being more in quantity) which is not suitable for day wear but can brighten up your evenings. According to me, this shade will suit most Indian skin tones and is a must-have kind of a shade in every woman’s vanity.

Staying power: It stayed on my non-oily lids for about 7 hours when used with a primer. However, on oily lids the staying power might reduce.
