How have you all been? I was on a self-imposed sabbatical from writing reviews not because of choice but because of situations. As IMBB is a big happy family, I would love to share a very good news with you all – no I am not expecting *hihi* I am very happy with my small family with a lovely daughter at the moment. The good piece of news is that my hubby has been selected to join MS Windows team at Redmond, WA and we are moving out by next month, and only due to that, I have been busy with all the selling off and planning. I have truckloads of product reviews pending and due to all this work that is going on for the big shift, I get too exhausted to click pics and write reviews. I somehow managed to squeeze in some time and today I am writing a review on Inglot AMC Gel Eyeliner in Shade #83 along with EOTD, yes I devoted my time for this *hihi*

My Experience with Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel #83:

I am pretty new to the world of gel liners as I have used liquid liners from Lakme most of the time and was pretty happy with those. I did not have the slightest idea about how gel liners looked and felt like, but thanks to IMBB, I was introduced to this miracle. I was told by some of my friends to use cheaper ones before I buy this as I would get more used to the texture and application. Since I was more than pro with my liquid liner, I ignored the suggestion and took the plunge with Inglot AMC 77 gel liner and trust me -that changed my life forever. This shade 83 is purplish-navy blue and looks awesome on brown eyes. It’s a crime to be ignorant about this liner, it glides like a dream or should I say – cream. I have used the black one and received loads of compliment from my friends and family.

I love my liner to be stark and bold as I rarely use lipstick. I have dreaded only one thing – the product drying up, this comes out as a major con in gel liner reviews.  For now, it’s doing fine as I lock it tight and keep it upside down – as suggested by most makeup geeks. I have seen that the faster you apply, the better it glides on, but if I am clumsy, it dries halfway and that is a real pain as it is water/face wash/and smudge resistant.

This is so highly water resistant that it seems as a con to me at times as I am tired at the end of the day and want to get my makeup off in a jiffy….mind it!!!! This won’t allow you to have that leisure *cry* I use jojoba oil, then eye makeup remover and still it manages to remain in between my eyelash hair and that too won’t go away in one wash.  I have to wash my face with a face wash at least two times to get rid of it completely. I use the Vega liner brush to apply this and cleaning that brush is a pain as well, so it basically proves the assumption that women are a confused lot *rofl* We want waterproof and smudgeproof makeup, but then it should come off easily too *hihi* *hihi* As my first gel liner, it’s a clear winner and I am ready to explore new brands.
