I was seriously lacking some sober, neutral shades in my eyeshadow department so I thought of getting a Freedom Palette (1200/-) of 3 eyeshadows from Inglot. A BIG THANK YOU TO KIKI! Their matte shades collection is definitely not at par with Mac; but their palettes are more affordable. I personally like Inglot palettes better than the Mac ones. They are sleeker and classier.I could easily choose two shades but had to struggle a bit to find the third one. In the pic, you can see that the first Inglot shadow is satiny while the other two are matte. I haven’t used the eyeshadows on my eyes as yet but their texture is at par with the Mac shadows. They are just as silky and pigmented and very smooth to blend on the skin. My friend and her mother had accompanied me and they got a beautiful lipstick palette for themselves. Sorry, no pics of that!

I must say that the staff at Promenade’s Mac is extremely, extremely cute! Not only are they drop dead gorgeous (including the handsome guy!), but they’re keen and friendly as well. They asked me whether it was my first time visiting that particular store as they had never seen me before. They also complimented my curly-wurly hair and asked me to definitely visit them soon. It was totally a feel good experience! My friend and her mother got themselves a MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner in Fuchsia. Sorry, no pics of that as well!

Both of the things I purchased today are my Rakhi gifts. My father was getting sms updates whenever my card was being swiped at the stores and he had a mini heart attack! He didn’t know makeup comes this expensive. LOL!
So, I hope you enjoyed my two little purchases. They’ve truly made me the happiest girl in the world.

BTW I can see the colors different in both the pics….the shades are all brown in the upper pic but grey n black n the lower one ?:-) ?:-) is it coz of flash or something or problem with my laptop??

haha HD, the pic with flash shows the true colours of the shadows. i put in the one without flash just like that. habit ho gai hai, one with flash and the other without.

rashmi you gave me the right advice! i told you na that i was going to pick up fleur power but it looked way too bright on me and this melba seemed like a softer form of that colour so i picked up this. i’ll post pics soon and hope inglot reaches mumbai too! it’s a beautiful brand!

devika, i’ve always loved mac for their shade selection, quality as well as packaging. you can’t get more variety of blushes anywhere else!! promenade is right next to emporio, yes. another mall called ambience has opened up there too now. it has shoppers stop and a pvr gold class is opening up there too.
