I love Inglot as a brand mainly due to the array of shades available in terms of both eye and lip colors. I heard all good things about the matte range of Inglot lipsticks and hence I picked up the shade 412 and 405 (review coming up). Here is the detailed review on the shade #412.

My Experience with Inglot Matte Lipstick #412:

The packaging is glossy black and looks very smart and sophisticated. The cap shuts with a click and is thus is easy to travel with. Typical of Inglot lipsticks, there is no name, only number to this particular shade. The number is mentioned on the tube and outer paper carton.

The carton has all details about the product including the ingredients. If you have more than one from the same range, you have to remember the corresponding shade.

The texture of the lipstick is matte as per the range. People with dry lips might find it slightly over drying; applying a lip balm beneath is definitely recommended. For normal lips, the initial 2 hours might seem okay, but a lip balm/gloss is required post that. With the winters coming, the dry texture might be an issue so think twice before you invest in this.

The shade is gorgeous to say the least. It is a berry shade with purple undertones which brightens up the face instantly. Teeth appear whiter with this shade on. The shade is suitable for a lot of skin tones and is ideal for parties and get-together.

Pair it with a sharp cat eye makeup and you are sure to turn heads in a gang of gals!

The staying power varies from 6-7 hours if helped along with a lip balm. Otherwise, the lips become overtly dry and I tend to lick my lips and thus lose the color. The texture does not allow the shade to smudge or budge and hence there is no need of lip liner.
