Inglot have raised their prices since the last time I brought their nail enamels, but surprisingly some of their shades are still price INR 490, which was their initial price. This particular color costed me INR 490, which is a decent price as compared to some of the other higher priced nail enamels from Inglot.

My Take on Inglot Nail Enamel 355:

Packaging: The enamel comes packed in a black colored cardboard box with a circular cutout that helps to identify the color without opening the packaging. The enamel bottle is square shaped, which I personally prefer more as compare to round bottles. The reason for the same is that, if these bottles are kept in a drawer where only the top can be seen, it makes it easier to recognize the color from the top without actually picking up the bottle. The brush size in the applicator is also decent, it’s not too big. Though I would have loved it even more if the brush size would have been a little wider, but this size too works well for me.

Shade no 355 is a peach toned neutral colored nail enamel. The color seems to have a golden sheen to it when seen in the bottle, but when applied on the hands, the golden sheen cannot be seen. Inglot nail enamels do pretty well in the pigmentation department and this color is no different from the others.

Pigmentation wise the color is good, 2 coats makes the color completely opaque. Though a single coat also imparts a good amount of color, it makes the nails look streaky. To remove this streakiness a second coat becomes a must. Sometimes if not applied properly the color may look streaky even after the second coat after which it becomes little difficult to handle the problem.

Consistency wise the color works well, it’s neither too thick nor too liquidy. It does have a consistency which helps the color to dry quickly (as per my experience, thick polishes do take a longer time to dry). The color takes around a minute to dry after which it stays easily for around 4-5 days. In the course of 4 days the color starts fading from the top edges, but the color does not crack. I would suggest to let the polish dry on its own; I have tried blowing my wet nails to help it dry faster, but it makes the color lose its shine and gives it a finish, which is neither exactly matte nor glossy.

Overall, for me I loved the polish for its color, especially because it is a color that I can apply in my office without being too bold. The staying power also makes me like the color. But, yes it is not the best of Inglot as far as I have tried, but it’s not bad either as it’s cheaper than all the other Inglot polishes. 🙂

Not this color, but due to my love for Inglot whenever I’ll see a pretty color I would not leave it. 🙂

Would I recommend Inglot Nail Enamel 355?

Yes! Only because of the fact that it’s cheaper than the others and it’s an everyday color. 🙂
