Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow in shade # 421 Review
Inglot has become my most trusted brand, when it comes to cosmetics. I picked a few eye shadow refills and concealer refills from Inglot, a couple of weeks ago. I picked them after reading Parita’s reviews on the pearl eyeshadows. This one was one among them, which was not reviewed. So, let me share my view and the swatches.
My Take on Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow in shade # 421:
Color: The pearl eye shadows are the ones that come with sheen, the right amount of sheen. This refill is a gorgeous coppery brown with golden sheen to it. At first, it looked like one of the coppery browns in the Lakme quads, but when I swatched it, I found the difference. 421 is sort of honey brown with pearl finish, far better in quality and shade. The color may not show if you have dark eyelids, but use a concealer or a base, to get the real shade on your lids. My eyelids are not dark, so you can notice the real shade, without a primer or concealer, it is so much coppery.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is just amazing. One swipe is enough to get the right amount of shade on your lids.
Note the swatches are done without a base/primer, to show how rich the pigmentation is.
Texture: The eye shadow is soft, buttery and glides easily. Its quite easy to work it on the lids.
Staying Power: It stays on my oily eye lids for 6-7 hours, without a primer. Very little fading is observed.
I use this more often, especially for ethnic wears. If I opt to wear a silk sare or a rich colored silk cotton, I use this coppery brown as my eye shadow. This shade would suit all Indian skin tones, and perfect for ethnic or party wear.
What I Like about Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow in shade # 421:
- The color, the coppery brown eye shadow, making it perfect for ethnic wear.
- Staying power- stays for 6-7 hours on bare lids.
- Pigmentation is awesome.
- Soft, easily blendable texture.
- Sans parabens.
- Cruelty free.
- Not expensive at all. The 1.6 grams refills comes for Rs. 300
What I Do Not Like about Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow in shade # 421:
- Inglot stores do not sell refills. Other than this, I found no other con.
Do I Recommend Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow in shade # 421?
Yes, if you like browns hues, like I do.

Inglot eye shadows are affordable and lots of shades are available. For beginners and for those who do not want to spend a lot on brands like MAC, these refills are a must have, but pay extra care if you don’t own a palette. I have got so much of Inglot stuff with me, and I definitely need a palette, so I have ordered one online. Looking forward to it 🙂

Preethi, I’ve always purchased inglot from the online stores..If u want to buy frm their outlets, u need to own a palette..otherwise they don’t seel refills..
