Innisfree Bija Trouble Spot Essence Review

I had picked up this Innisfree Bija Trouble Spot Essence on my visit to Hong Kong last year because I was facing serious acne issues and because summer was around, I knew I would be getting acne breakouts again. This spot essence has been my saviour and this is my second tube, which makes my love for this product pretty obvious 😛

My Experience with Innisfree Bija Trouble Spot Essence:

Bija Spot Essence comes in a sea green squeezy tube with the details printed at the back of the tube.

Innisfree Bija Trouble Spot Essence details

Generally, all acne drying or reducing products have salicylic acid in it which makes my skin more dry than it is, but bija spot essense has nutmeg oil and torreya seed oil which do not dry out my skin. This stuff claims to reduce acne and I cannot agree more. I tend to breakout around my chin area and I apply the tiniest amount of this stuff on my acne and blemishes every night, it is basically the last step of my skin care routine.

The consistency of Bija spot essence is on thicker side and it is suggested to use a cotton swab to maintain the hygiene of the tube or take a small amount on the finger tip and dab a little on the acne and blemishes. It feels very cool when applied and feels very calming on the skin.

It has a slightly chemical scent to it. After using this essence regularly, I have noticed that after a week or two, all my acne breakouts had dried up and only minor scars were left behind. I still apply this every night on scars that I recently got from acne and they have almost diminished.

It also doesn’t cause any irritation or redness which makes it perfect for people with sensitive skin. I cannot imagine my life without this spot essence.
