My Experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack – Bamboo:

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack - Bamboo Review1

The packaging of the capsule recipe packs has improved greatly and the new variants in this range are quite interesting. Owing to the cute packaging and variants, these can double as great gifts. Just like the previous capsule recipe packs, the bamboo variant comes in a plastic brown tub along with a light green label on the top lid which indicates the main ingredient in the pack.

The packaging is much more sturdy as it has two lids, and is hence travel–friendly. The bottom has a label containing all other information such as ingredients, directions for use etc, but to see the actual benefits of the pack, I had to research online on their website. Just like all other capsule recipe packs, the amount of pack contained in the tub is quite less.

The pack is a transparent soft gel, having almost the same consistency of aloe vera gel. It is not completely solid, it is quite runny and watery. It has a very cool texture, and I prefer to keep it in the refrigerator for an extra kick of refreshment. It has a very subtle refreshing fragrance, which lingers for a while after application and disappears after some time. As a substitute for moisturiser in the last step of a skincare routine, only a small amount is required for the entire face. The texture is less sticky than the Aronia Capsule Recipe Pack.

Coming to the actual application, it feels very refreshing on the skin. I used this after a day of intense sun exposure and it helped to calm my skin to a great extent before I could start using de-tan products. Upon application, it does not feel heavy or sticky; it sinks into the skin completely, a couple of minutes later. Bamboo is known to soothe the skin and provide intense hydration to the skin, so it is a great pack for days when my skin feels dehydrated. In the morning, my face feels hydrated, relaxed and plump. It smoothens out the fine lines on my forehead. The effects of the pack last for about two days. It does not have any visible brightening or lightening effect. Overall, it worked really well for my skin and does what it claims.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack – Bamboo?
I would say that it is quite similar to the aloe vera capsule recipe pack from this line. But, I would repurchase this, definitely, because it is an overnight mask, which really benefits sun damaged and dehydrated skin. I would recommend it to people who often go out in the sun for prolonged periods of time. This pack would suit all skin types.
