Coloressence Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil in Green Dream

Hope you all are in the pink of health. Today I’ll be reviewing a shimmery green eye liner pencil. I spotted these in the Coloressence section of my beauty supply store and these looked worth a try, so without thinking much, I picked these up. I love eye pencils especially Green, blue and purple ones, so lets see how Green Dream fared for me!

My Experience with Coloressence Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil in Green Dream:
Packaging: These eye liner pencils come in plastic and cardboard packaging. You have to slide the cardboard. Each eye liner pencil comes with it’s own sharpener, which is great. The actual pencil comes packed in plastic wrapped so tightly around its body, that the cap has a permanent bend to it. It’s really a pain to remove the plastic. The body of the pencil is the same as the colour of the eye liner, so it’s easy to spot in your collection. The body is wooden and the cap is of plastic, which fits snugly. The details are all printed on the body of the pencil in silver, which makes it somewhat attractive. Over all, its sleek, no fuss packaging, this is very travel friendly and easy to throw in your purse.
Colour & Pigmenation: The colour of this eye liner pencil is light green in colour. At first I thought it has very fine gold shimmers in it, but when you look closely, you can see that there are no shimmers, its just a light green metallic coloured pencil. 😛 I love the colour so much. On the first swipe it deposits very less colour, but as you swipe it more, the colour intensifies. Its very buildable. It needs around 30 seconds to a minute to set and after that it does not smudge at all.
Texture: The tip of the eye pencil is strong enough not to crumble when pressure is applied to it. It does not tug and pull, it glides smoothly, but it is not creamy. It applies very evenly. The tip doesn’t melt off, luckily. It is water proof but as I said it needs to set first. It does not budge an inch if you try to rub it. It takes three to four swipes to completely remove it even with a wet wipe.
Staying power: It stays on for 6+ hours or until you try to rub it off. Its very stubborn, unless you apply pressure and smudge it. Thumbs up for that!

• The plastic cover on the body does not come off easily. :/
• Less colour deposit on the first two swipes
Other than that I really do not have any complaints
