This review will be on the It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara which has become my next *Spoiler alert* HG mascara.

My Experience with It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara:

Packaging:  This mascara comes in a tall glossy black tube and with its winding structural design makes me think of a trophy. I totally keep this mascara right on my vanity as my own personal Oscar for “best lashes” 😛
Wand.

The wand is a thin traditional bristle wand. The size is just right to use for both upper and lower lashes without a problem.

Consistency and Application:  The formula for this mascara is neither too wet nor too dry. It is just wet enough to completely coat and paint each lash from root to tip without clumping them together. The best method to apply this mascara is to keep it right at the root and wiggle your way up; depositing most of the product at the base for an appearance of a lush lash line. The mascara has a quick drying time hence you can apply your second coat in less than 30 seconds.

Results:  This mascara is jet black, making your lashes stand out. It is buildable hence you can do up to two coats to achieve maximum “false-lash looking drama” ( I would not recommend putting more than 2 coats as it will start to look very messy and clumpy). It provides amazing length and also body and volume to my lashes which I love. The formula is mildly clumpy, but in a way that makes your lashes look thicker, but does not make them look spidery.

Staying Power:  I did not find this mascara to flake or smudge on me throughout the day which is around 7-8 hours for me. It is not waterproof, which is what I prefer as it makes the removal process easier. This mascara comes off easily with any makeup remover wipe or and while doing my regular face washing routine.

Overall, I absolutely love this mascara. It does everything it claims and gives me amazing doll-like lashes which others can’t help but notice and complement on. I absolutely recommend this mascara!

• Mildly clumping formula to make the lashes look thicker, just be sure to not apply too many layers.

• Perfect size wand for both upper and lower lashes.
