I am back with one more lip colour, Jane Iredale Mary PureMoist Lipstick. I really got carried away with plum shades this season. I picked up two shades from Tom Ford and one from Jane Iredale even though I had one from Bobbi Brown in my lipstick collection. Coming back to today’s review, Jane Iredale Mary PureMoist Lipstick is a beautiful creamy matte plum. This is a perfect shade to wear day in day out. The texture is smooth, mildly creamy and gives a matte finish to my lips. The sleek design of the lipstick bullet enables precise and smooth application. As advised, you should use this lipstick on exfoliated lips for a smooth and even finish. This shade does not spread or smudge during application.
The lasting power is three to four hours. The shade is mildly pigmented, hence two to three swipes are required to get an opaque finish on my pigmented lips. This shade tends to fade easily after drinking tea and coffee and having light snacks. It gets completely wiped off after having heavy meals. It does not dry out or irritate my sensitive lips. It tends to transfer if the lips are pressed hard, though.
