I always wanted to try a hair spray for two reasons. One is to control frizz. Second is to hold my flyaway.  As I was pretty impressed with my John Frieda Serum, I selected a hair spray from the same brand. It claimed both my concerns in its name itself. I guess that was tempting enough. Lets see whether it lived up to its claims.

Product Claims:

• Fast-drying, shine-boosting formula lasts long and stays strong.
• Creates an instant barrier that helps seal out humidity and combat frizz, rain or shine.
• Firm-holding power supports even the hardest-to-handle styles, all day long.
• Contains a UV filter.

How to use:

Hold can 10-12 inches from hair. Spray in an even, all-around motion to hold style firmly in place. Concentrate spray on areas where maximum hold is desired.

My Experience with John Freida Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm – Hold Hair Spray:

The packing is in line with the Frizz-Ease range of John Frieda. It has a metal body with a pump dispenser. On the whole, it has a sturdy hygienic packing. It is quite a big bottle and will last me long.  The smell is little weird but it vanishes real soon. Smell is not that overpowering. It maybe a concern for most. It is not alcohol and silicone free which is big drawback of this range. Main good thing about this spray is it controls the frizz effectively. Check for my first requirement. This doesn’t leave a white film unlike other sprays which I have tried. The main difficulty I face in this product is it makes my hair stiff if I don’t apply the spray evenly.  Take care while applying the spray. I am quite comfortable after a few uses. Oh yeah! What happens to my second concern? It holds my fly always pretty well. It may not perfectly hold a style though.

Pretty good product overall. Try it if you need a little hair help on a rainy day.

I will,till I find something better.
