My Experience with John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo:

I have been using the John Freida Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner duo for a few weeks now and have noticed quite a change in my hair.  My hair is very fine and lacks in volume. It is also very dry and tends to get very frizzy. Since I started using this shampoo, the first thing which is noticeable from the very first use is that this makes the hair so much bouncier. My hair tends to stay so flat and lacking in volume even after I blow-dry or iron it, but when I used this shampoo, the results were notable immediately. I blow dried my hair and my hair has such a natural bounce and shine to it. It did not weigh my hair down and it felt so lightweight. It also made my hair very easy to style and also felt like it was protecting my hair from further styling damage.

I do not suffer from much damage in hair, but with regular use of this shampoo, my hair felt more silkier and softer. Hence I feel that it would definitely be of help in protecting and minimizing hair damage if not repair it fully for those who suffer from it. It does not make hair greasy but it is not the most hydrating shampoo.  My hair still feels a bit dry after using it and it did not help me with the frizz in my hair. It had little to no effect on that issue.

The consistency of this creamy shampoo is quite good, not too thin and the best part is that it comes in a squeeze tube, hence there is very controlled removal of the product which prevents wastage. Even though the cap is very small and tends to slip in soapy hands, a flip top cap would have been so much better.

It does not have a very strong overpowering scent but the scent is light floral-minty scent which smells very much like a scent you would get when you step in a hair salon. Scent does not linger on hair for long. Also, I found that it does not lather well, you need a lot of product in one go if you want to produce enough lather to clean your hair off greasiness if you had applied hair oil before washing. This product is very affordable and easily available.

John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo 8

Overall, I feel this product will be beneficial to only certain types of hair (which is normal hair which is fine and lacks volume and suffers from not too much hair damage).  If you fall under this hair type category, you will be really pleased with its performance.
