Johnson’s Baby Care & Body Care products have served masses over ages and are adored by everyone. The reputation of this brand is so good that I picked this hand cream up without having any doubts regarding its performance. Let’s see if this proved to be a hit or a miss.

My Experience with Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Hand Cream:
Everybody loves Johnson’s baby lotion and facial wipes, right? They are must haves in everyone’s stash and today we will see if their hand cream is worth a pick or not!
Packaging: Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Hand Cream’s packaging has the signature color of the brand – baby pink. But, still the packaging looks slightly dull to me. The baby pink squeezable plastic tube opens with a flip-open cap. It is lightweight and will fit into any bag for everyday use.
Consistency, Texture & Finish: The consistency is not like a cream, but it is something in-between cream and lotion. The texture is soft and hydrating, and not moisturizing. When applied, it spreads and absorbs in micro seconds. It leaves the skin matte and hydrated with no greasy, non sticky feeling. But, no moisturization. It is definitely a hydrating hand cream, but not particularly moisturising on the skin. Yet, it still makes skin feel soft and takes away dryness in no time.
With mild and adorable Johnson’s fragrance, it makes my hands feel comfortable even after washing, though, I can’t feel the film of moisture, as claimed by the brand. If you wash hands with soap, reapplication is required. However, the claim of 24 hour moisture is totally exaggerated in the case of this hand cream. Few more variants of Johnson’s Hand Creams are available in the market, one with coco butter and shea butter and I have better hopes with that one.
Results on Skin: Though, the moisture stays for only 1-2 hours, yet, the skin retains softness for several hours even after washing with water. I haven’t noticed any significant improvement in skin’s health with regular usage. It lacks any SPF factor too. Overall, I don’t hate the product, but I am not happy either. For the same price, a bundle of better hand creams are available.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Hand Cream?
If you want to keep a hand cream for summer or spring only, then this one can work. Otherwise, it is a failure in harsh weather. Personally, I have very dry hands, so I need to have ultimate moisture and extra nourishment for my hands. That’s the main reason this product didn’t work for me, but might work for you.
If you are looking for a mild moisturiser for hands, go ahead and pick this one up, otherwise skip it. I will stay with Neutrogena and Dove Hand Creams and will see if I gather the courage to try other variants from the same brand.
