Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Oil Spray Review

Before heading back to India, I am trying to grab as many good skin care products as I can since I don’t think I can find any of these in India. I recently found out that Johnson’s has launched some amazing skin care range targeted towards the dry skin type. One of the things that I recently bought is the Johnson’s Oil spray. Let’s jump to the review…

It comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a spray nozzle at the top. Further, the nozzle is covered with a cap over it.  Overall, the packaging is not travel friendly and I found out that it leaks when I keep it in my handbag. The top cap gets separated from the bottle and my purse gets wet due to product leakage.

Texture:

It is a clear liquid which is not greasy or oily in nature. It has the tendency to spread all over the surface, even the teeny weeny drop spreads all over the skin when applied. It has a mild perfume scent which my nose can’t recognize exactly.

Price: QAR 20 for 150 ml.

Shelf Life: 36 Month.

My Experience with Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Oil Spray:

My first impression when I saw this bottle was that it is some sort of body oil but it has nothing to do with oil. It is a liquid gel which spreads crazily on the skin. I find it useful for immediate moisturization when we cannot carry tons of lotions and creams or if I am in hurry, I just spray the product on the dry areas and it does the job brilliantly.

I am disappointed with the fact that the hydration does not last more than 2 hours. When the product is sprayed on your skin, it spreads all over by itself and gets absorbed into the skin; little effort is required to spread the remaining product. It leaves the skin glossy after application.

Pros of Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Oil Spray:

• Really hydrating and leaves the skin soft and supple.
• It leaves the skin glossy after application.
• Quickly absorbed by the skin.
• Product had the tendency to spread so a little amount goes a long way.
• Mild scent which does not bother much.
• Perfect for everyday use and instant moisturization.
• Dermatologically tested.

Cons of Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Oil Spray:

• Availability in India.
• Packaging is not travel friendly.
• Hydration stays for short duration.

Would I Repurchase or Recommend Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Oil Spray?
Yes, but I won’t buy this product soon since a little amount goes a long way. I definitely recommend this oil for dry skin type beauties.
