My Experience with Jordana 071 Nutmeg Lipstick:

The packaging of the lipstick is simple. It comes in a silver colored cylindrical plastic tube, which has the brand name imprinted on it in black color. The cap of the lipstick is transparent, which helps to see the shade from outside. The shade name is also mentioned at the base of the tube. Overall, the packaging is quite basic and cheap looking.

The shade “Nutmeg” is a light orange shade with some brownish hues. This one is not a frosty variant and does not contain any shimmers in it. The lipstick sets to a glossy finish. It gives nice sheen to the lips. The shade is pretty and will flatter fair to medium skin tones well.

The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth. It goes smoothly on the lips without any tugging and pulling. The lipstick is great texture-wise. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. It does bleed/smudge a little. It is very moisturizing, so there is no need to apply a lip balm underneath. It feels light and comfortable on the lips.

Pigmentation wise, the lipstick is average. One swipe will impart a sheer coverage. Two-three swipes are required to attain opaque finish. The lasting power of this lipstick is low. It stays for two hours or so on my lips, which is quite disappointing. It needs regular touch ups. It does not survive even a little snacking and vanishes completely. Overall, the lipstick is nice but low staying power is a turn off.
