Today’s review is on one of many n*de lipliner shades in my stash. Today’s pick is Jordana 5-1/2 inches Lip Liner in the shade- Natural, No.26.

We all know the importance of lipliners in makeup. Lipliners not only help keeping your lippies in place by keeping it bleed proof from the corners of your lips but also help in giving you a neat look by properly highlighting the natural contour of your lips.

Packaging: The lipliner is in pencil form, the body colour coordinated with the actual product and secured with silver coloured cap. The cap fits tightly and thus the lip liner is travel friendly and easy to use.

My take on Jordana 5-1/2 Inch Lip Liner Pencil in No.26 Natural:

Let’s start with the shade of the lipliner. It is very beautiful neutral pink shade (something like MLBB shade) that I can easily pair up with my neutral shade lippies. I am very fond of subtle n*de lipstick shades and I always look for lipliners that looks natural. Although I have one or two more such shades but still when I saw this lipliner I couldn’t resist myself from buying it. The lipliner delivers a very natural dash of colour to the lips that looks oh so pretty and neat precisely-an office apt look. Although it is not ultra creamy, it is not one of those hard lipliners either. You can apply it easily on your lips without tugging or pulling them.

The lipliner starts with a bit, very slight creamy finish and settles into a matte look within minutes. It prevents lippies from bleeding for a good stretch of 4-5 hours after which I feel a need of fresh application. However when I apply it as a stand-alone lipcolour it settles into fine lines of the lips and looks ugly, so most of the times I use it to simply line my lips and not as a full on lipcolour. The quality of the wood is decent and the lipliner can be sharpened easily without much product wasting. So all in all it is good lipliner which is affordable although it is not easily available every-where.

• Stays for good 4-5 hours.
• Easy to work with- doesn’t tug or pull your lips.
• Can be sharpened easily.
• Sets into beautiful matte finish.
• .Not ultra creamy so no product wastage.

Cons of Jordana 5-1/2 Inch Lip Liner Pencil in No.26 Natural:

• Not easily available.
• Contains loads of chemicals.
• Can’t be used as a stand-alone lip colour, as it may accentuate all the imperfections of the lips.
• May not be suitable for people with dry lips.
• Packaging could be better.

Do I recommend it?

Well, I like the shade and I really love the quality of this lipliner at the price which is offered. It is a lipliner with almost all the good qualities that you expect in a nice lipliner. I am happy with the product and since I may repurchase it in future, I do recommend it. Although it is not one of those easily available makeup types, still if you come across this liner or if you are an online shopping gal, go for it.
