Jordana Best Volume Extreme Volumizing Mascara Review

Greetings to all those who lust long lashes!!!

I had been eyeing Jordana and Milani Cosmetics for a while. Since it is not available in my local Walmart, I decided to take a detour and visit local Walgreens instead. They didn’t have Milani, but they had a very small shelf dedicated to Jordana cosmetics. I rummaged through that shelf and managed to pick up a few products of my liking. One of them is this mascara and I couldn’t be happier for I bought this amazing lash potion. Why, you ask? Keep reading to know why!

Tips and Tricks:
Apply on lower and upper lashes. When applying on upper lashes, start from the root and wiggle the brush all the way to the tip.

Tip: To make your eyes look bigger, use an eyelash curler to lift and curl your lashes.

My Experience with Jordana Best Volume Extreme Volumizing Mascara:

For quite some time I had been looking for a good drugstore mascara and I kind of had my mind set on L’Oreal Volumizing Mascara, but then I came across this one for just $3.99. So, I decided to try my first Jordana product and see how it works on me.

I had low hopes with this product and without opening it’s seal I decided to see it’s reviews online (because I was inclined towards returning it and getting a better reviewed product). But, I was pleasantly surprised to find good reviews about this product and most of the beauty bloggers claimed that this is an awesome product and is even better than most high end mascaras.

Packaging: Cylindrical tube with neon green cap to hold the wand. The tube is generous in length and girth; good amount of product for money paid. The brush is a bit bigger and longer than most mascara would have and is a little difficult to work with but I guess, it is required to impart that volume to the lashes.

Texture: It’s not very liquidy or wet, but is rather dry;. However, it does not create clumpy lashes and hence, has perfect consistency.

Pigmentation: One coat gives an instant lift and volume to the lash and is enough for a day look. For a more dramatic look, one can go for two or three coats and they would be enough to give an appearance of false lashes.

Wear Time: Entire day except a little bit of fall out or transfer of product from lower lashes on to the under eye skin, but that is minimal and barely noticeable. The only drawback is that it’s not waterproof. So, all those who cry a lot or love to dance in the rain, refrain from this mascara; otherwise, one is good to go. Don’t blame it for not being water proof since it does not claim to be one.
