We all love multitasking products in our life, be it makeup products, clothes, or accessories.  So today, I am also going to review a multitasking product for you all.  Joise Maran’s Argan oil is very famous and they have many other Argan oil-infused products too.  The Joise Maran Argan oil color stick is a multitasking color stick which can be used for cheeks as well as for lips. So, did it really live up to its claims of a two-in-one product, read on to find out more about it.

My Experience with Josie Maran Argan Color Stick – Coral:

The Josie Maran Argan oil color stick in the shade “Coral” is a beautiful peachy coral shade which gives instant freshness and bright look to my face when used as a blush.  For application as a blush, I use it directly from stick on my skin. I make dots on the apple of my cheeks and then blend it out using blush brush.  However, it is easy to blend using fingers also.  If you don’t want to apply the stick directly on the skin, then you can use q-tips or brush for the same.  On my pigmented lips, it looks more like a peachy pink shade. The fat stick is difficult to use directly on my lips, so I use my fingers of lip brush for application.

The product is very creamy and in spite of being a product with Argan oil, it does not feel oily or heavy on my combination to oily skin. On lips, it feels moisturizing and keeps lips hydrated. Though the repairing and replenishing claim for skin is something I have not noticed yet, it has not broken me out or created any issue on my skin so far.  As argan oil is known to be good for skin, I believe that these claims are not totally false. On my lips, I do feel the hydration, but to see long-lasting results, one should use it every day, which I fail to do as I like to wear different shades on lips every day.

The product comes in a rose gold tube with a plastic cap.  Inside, there is one more small cap on top of the tube as a second layer of protection. This small cap makes sure that you remember to close the stick before placing the cap on the tube.  The product has this herbal/minty kind of smell to it which is not bothersome to me. The color payoff is sheer but buildable. Talking of staying power, it stays for almost 6-7 hours on my cheeks which is very good for a blush and as a lip color, it stays there for 4-5 hours with no eating/drinking. But as the shade is light, it starts to fade after a meal or heavy snack.

Overall, this does pass the test as a multipurpose product by working wonderfully as a blush and a lip color for me. So, if you are looking for a nice coral, peachy blush and lip color, then this one will fit your bill perfectly.  It feels light for my combination to oily skin, but I think this will do good for dry skin as well. It has good staying power and is easy to apply. I recommend this to every girl looking for a coral blush.
