My Experience with Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter:

Firstly, its all due to the amazing cooperation of IMBB that so many of us, the writers are getting to try such great products and we get to bring forth our experience to help so many of the readers to invest your money in the right products.  Josie Maran cosmetics are widely known because of the ingredient – argan oil which she uses in all of her products.  Argan oil has numerous benefits when used on skin or hair and it has been slowly gaining popularity among cosmetic companies as well. Josie Maran also claims that most of the ingredients used are organic and naturally derived while being paraben and cruelty free.

I fell in love with this body butter from the very first day that I used it. The best thing about this product which is so different from any other body butter I have used is the texture and consistency. The cream is so light, airy and super silky and just spreads on like a dream.  The term “whipped to perfection” couldn’t be more right.  It just melts in the skin and gives smooth and silky application.  It feels so luxuriously moisturizing on the skin but at the same time, it is so lightweight and does not leave a film or layer on the skin. Skin absorbs it thoroughly and there is no greasiness left behind. Though it does provide a slight sheen on the skin it seems to disappear after the product gets completely absorbed which does take a few minutes.

It comes in a huge jar tub which may seem unhygienic to some. The quantity provided is very good for the price and since you need very little as it spreads easily on the body, a tub will probably last me months even with regular use.  I feel that this body butter is suitable to be used all year long. It is moisturizing enough to be used in winter months, but will also good for the summers since it is not too heavy on the skin. When applied overnight, it will fix even the driest and the most parched areas of the body and skin feels soft and hydrated all of the next day. No more itchy or dry skin.

It comes in two scents which is vanilla apricot and sweet citrus.  I have the “vanilla apricot” version of this. The sweet fruity scent is very pleasant and not too overpowering. It does smell very much like fresh apricots. Scent does faintly linger on the skin for a long time, but I do wish it also came in an unperfumed version too since the scent does seem to clash with other perfumes that you may have applied.

Overall, this is a perfect product if you want to give your skin a pampering treatment this winter, buy it for yourself or as a gift. You cannot go wrong with this product. Definitely will recommend to everyone and I am buying this again when I run out.
