With the winters crawling in, my mother and I were looking for a non-greasy day cream, and saw this beauty. Recently Jovees has launched quite a few products, and I wanted to give Jovees Youth Active Face Cream with Blackberry and Grapes a shot. The ingredient list which boasts of blackberry and grape seed extract along with goodness of jojoba, avocado, vetiver oil and fruit derived AHA’S tempted me to buy this. Here is the review.

My Take on Jovees Blackberry and Grapes Youth Active Face Cream SPF 16:
It has a mild pleasant smell but doesn’t linger for long. The texture is smooth and of medium
consistency, with a pearly white color. It is easy to apply. Skin looks brighter and there is absolutely no greasiness. It has SPF 16, so it is perfect for regular wear at home, or if you are stepping out in the winter morning. It imparts a fresh rosy look, and if you have clear skin, you can just do with this and a light touch of powder.
My combination skin didn’t face any breakouts with this, unlike other day creams I have used which have given me terrible times. My mother loves this one and I use it sometimes in the mornings when I am at home. The softness stays on for 6 hours at least in the current mildly dry and slightly cold weather. Intense cold might reduce the hydration power.
There is one issue with this, even if you feel the cream has been completely absorbed, if you rub or touch your skin say after an hour or two, you can find tiny white specks coming off. Not a major issue if you use at home or don’t rub your skin, but nonetheless this better be improved. Extremely dry skinned beauties won’t find this sufficient, but most other skin types can give this a go.
