Joy Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream Review
Hi Everyone :pompom:
Today, I am going to review JOY Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream, my mother picked it up randomly. My mother has a habit of picking up things and not using them and this cream was no exception. It was the first time I heard of this brand. Nevertheless, seeing it lying all unused, I started using it. It has been two weeks already and I have formed an opinion about this cream. Please read on to find out how it fares on my expectations.
Product Being Reviewed:
Joy Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream.
Price/ Packaging/ Quantity:
INR 35 for 50 ml. It comes in a bright orange coloured tub packaging with a sticker on top which has almonds on it. I am not very impressed with the packaging as it seems flimsy to me.
What’s Written on the Tub?
Contains generous doses of Almond Oil and Honey along with Vitamin E & Sunscreen to nourish your complexion and protect your skin from winter dryness and wrinkles.
Apply daily all over the face and body.
Wheat Germ Oil, Almond Oil and Honey.
My Take on Joy Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream:
The first impression after seeing this cream was annoyance because I already have so many body lotions and creams to finish and I knew my mom would not be using it, so it would just go waste. I read the ingredients on it and instantly my annoyance was gone because it claimed to contain almond oil, honey and vitamin E , hich are excellent for skin. So, I opened up the cap and took a generous amount on my hands. It’s a white coloured cream with the right consistency which a cream should have. Although, I liked the fragrance, but the cream as such was too greasy. I rubbed it on my hands and it just refused to get absorbed, my hands felt greasy for an hour or so after which I had to finally wash it off. I didn’t have the courage to apply it on my face as it was too greasy and as such I have oily skin, so it would have made the matter worse.
It’s still lying unused in my cupboard, once in a while, I do apply it during night and wake up with softer hands. I guess this cream needs it’s time to work on the skin, but during the day, I can’t conjure the strength to make my hands or body greasy, so I skip it during the day time.
Pros of Joy Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream:
1. Reasonably priced.
2. Herbal ingredients like almond oil, honey and vitamin E.
3. Makes the hands softer if the cream is left on for 6-8 hours.
4. Fragrance is nice though not mild.
Cons of Joy Honey and Almonds Nourishing Cream:
1. Complete list of ingredients not mentioned.
2. The cream does not get absorbed in the skin.
3. Makes the skin greasy.
4. Tub packaging is very unhygienic.
Will I Repurchase?
No, never. I am happy with my Bath and body Works Twilight wood cream.
