Joy Skin Fruits Oil Control Face Wash

I have oily whitehead prone skin and I always use oil control face wash. When I saw this face wash in store I was eager to try it as joy face wash always worked for me. Anushka Sharma endorses this brand and you must have this product in her ads. It claims to control and remove excess oil and that is the reason I bought it without thinking twice and today I’m reviewing that only. Let’s see how this product worked for me.

What the product claims?

Skin fruits Oil Control Face Wash exfoliates skin and deep cleanses blackheads, dirt, grime and clogged pores. It removes excess oil without disturbing essential oil balance. Skin feels fresh and brilliantly clean without over-drying or tightening.

Price: 48 INR for 50ml (they are giving 30ml free :D)

Ingredients: Strawberry – A natural exfoliant enriched with Vitamins & Antioxidants, it effectively removes excess oil and conditions, tones and lightens skin.

Directions to use: Moisten face, squeeze a small quantity in the palm of your hand and rub hands together. Massage gently over face, avoiding eye area with a circular motion to work up a rich lather. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use as often as required.

My experience with Joy Skin Fruits Oil Control Face Wash:

The face wash comes in a plastic tube with a flip flop cap. The cap shuts with a click sound and it doesn’t leak so it’s travel friendly. The texture of face wash gel and it’s transparent with some pink beads in it. The fragrance is just amazing, it smells like strawberry icecream 😀 and it’s not overpowering at all. The company says “yeh face wash nahi yeh hai fruit wash” and I completely agree with it. The fragrance stays for 5-6 minutes after washing face and then it fades, I wish it lasting at least for one hour.

A very little quantity is required to lather the product and thus the product will last long. The pink beads included in it do nothing as they are very mild. It cleans face completely and doesn’t leave slippery feel. Coming to the claims, it claims to exfoliate which I don’t think it does because the beads are useless. It removes excess oil from my face without drying my face and prevents oil secretion for 2 hours. It also claims to deep cleanse clogged pores and dirt which is true as after using it my face look extremely clean. It contains strawberry which claims to lighten skin which I have not experienced yet (I am using it from 15 days twice daily).

Overall, I think it’s a good face wash that works well for my oily skin.

• Dint experienced any lightening or de-tanning effect

Will I repurchase? Yes, I love the fragrance of this face wash… ooppss fruit wash. 😀

Will I recommend? Yes, if you have oily skin and you like strawberry fragrance then give it a try and you’ll like it as it’s a good face wash.
