My Experience with Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist:

With the long and extremely hot summers here in Texas, who can turn down a amazing cooling mist to use when you are feeling over heated. The moment I saw this facial mist which claims to tone as well as refresh while also being “hydrating,” I thought this will be the perfect product for me considering I do have normal/dry skin.  I had heard of the juice beauty brand and had seen them all the time during my trips to Ulta, but never had a chance to try them till this product came along. Unfortunately, my first experience with this brand has left me very much disappointed.

Packaging:

This product is available is 2 sizes, full as well as travel. The travel size is also a very generous quantity of about 1 fl oz which will last a long time as you don’t have to drench yourself in it and 1-2 spritz is more than enough. While the full size is heavy and bulky, hence not preferred if you are looking for something to refresh yourself on-the-go. The spray delivers super fine mist and covers sufficient area in 1 spritz.

Performance:

I did not find that this product performed exceptionally well. My face feels super greasy when this is first sprayed on my skin and the stickiness takes a while to evaporate.  I did find this product to moisturize my skin a little bit as it evaporated but it still did not make the whole going through the stickiness and greasiness on my skin worth it. I did try to set my makeup with this and it made my face look like a oil slick and did not help the staying power one bit. Also on the “toning” claims of it , I did not find it made any apparent difference in my skin texture or pores even with prolonged use.

Fragrance:

It has a very strong scent which reminds me of the artificial- chemical rose perfumes.  It’s too strong for my nose and I am not even that sensitive to scents most of the time. It is so strong, it can easily replace your perfume, not that I will use it that way because the scent is not my favorite or appealing to me.  Overall, I am not a fan of this product nor would I recommend it.

Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist

Pros of Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist:

  • Affordable and easily available.
  • Nothing else.

Cons of Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist:

  • Leaves my face greasy and sticky which lingers for a few minutes and does not evaporate immediately.
  • Cannot use it to set makeup as it will decrease the staying power and make the face shiny and greasy.
  • Very strong scent, too overpowering.
  • Smells very artificial and does not appeal to me at all.
