Kara Hand Sanitizing Wipes- Review
Hello people 🙂
Kara is one of the leading brands in facial wipes, and I like them very much. Now it has come out with hand sanitizing wipes, I just found them while surfing on the net, so thought to give them a try. Hand sanitizers have become something essential these days, but for me the alcohol is irritating at times. We’ll try to compare this review with a hand sanitizer. Let’s find out how my experience with Kara Hand Sanitizing wipes goes.
Price:
Rs. 30/- for a pack of 10
(I got a pack of 3 at a good discount due to promotional offer)
Shelf Life:
24 months
What it Says:
Clean, Germ Free hands at all times
with Triclosan & Aloe Vera
Sanitizes, Hydrates, Nourishes, Deodorizes
Kara Hand Sanitizing Wipes enriched with Triclosan ensure 99% germ kill and effective cleansing of hands without compromising on skin nourishment through Aloe vera and are made from Birla Cellulose, a fibre that is 100% natural and biodegradable.
Key Ingredients:
Aqua, Silicon Emulsion, Triclosan, Aloe Vera Gel, Preservatives and Fragrance. Alcohol Free (yay!)
My experience with Kara Hand Sanitizing Wipes:
I like hand sanitizers, but some of them really smell of alcohol and become less viscous with time, don’t know what the issue is. So this I thought was a good option, going alcohol free. The wipes are really great, Kara has proved itself in this field also.
The pack is similar to Kara facial wipes packs, open and reseal, with a transparent seal. The fragrance is amazing, its something like cologne, and after using the wipes it remains on your hands for a few seconds. Aloe vera extract might be helping to protect the softness of hands, but I’m not sure about that. Usually my hand sanitizer (I used Lifebuoy hand sanitizer) dried off my skin, but Kara wipes keep them soft and smooth. It cleans off very well, so the germ kill fact is very true. The only thing is I need to carry another pack of wipes for my hands along with facial wipes when I travel.
Pros of Kara Hand Sanitizing Wipes:
- Alcohol free wipes.
- Natural and biodegradable made of cellulose.
- Have a really good fragrance.
- Kills germs & cleans up effectively, removing all the dirt.
- Presence of aloe vera keeps skin soft.
- Doesn’t dry off the skin like alcoholic hand sanitizer.
- Reasonably priced.
Cons of Kara Skin Care Wipes:
Not available in small quantity, you need to carry an entire pack of 10 🙁
Except the above, I didn’t find any cons with these wipes, they’re great to use.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
Would I repurchase?
Yes.
Overall:
Good wipes, I would recommend it as they’re alcohol free and have a good fragrance. Just carry another pack of these along with your facial wipes, and you’ll be happy!!

I had no idea that Kara had come up with hand sanitising wipes too! I hate those liquid sanitisers. I am so going to hunt for these, especially when they’re so reasonable too. 😀 Thanks for the review, Neha.
