Karwachauth Makeup Tutorial Video

karwachauth-makeup-tutorial

Sanjeev and I shot a makeup tutorial video after ages. Since Karwachauth is just round the corner, I thought I’d do a quick makeup tutorial. You can re-create the look using any other eyeshadow color as well. I have tried to keep a good mix of both high end and budget products in the video. Please ignore my dreaded under eye circles. I work way too much and way too long on computer to get rid of those. Please bear with them.:P

Hope you like the video. Good Night or morning! πŸ™‚

  1. Awwww it`s so cute. I love using light stuff as well – currently loving the loreal bb cream ^_^ It gives me the spf that I need too , otherwise with my sensitive skin , I`ll turn into fudge πŸ˜€ I dont use shadows much – got to try those for the festive season. ^_^ I love the balance kept in between the products used – drugstore to highend. And you are very pretty, love the hairdo. ^_^ The song selection`s sweet ^_^

  2. Loved the video a lot *jai ho* song is very apt to the video. Do more videos for us and I would like to listen to ur voice in the next video *haan ji*

i’ve heard alot abt the benefit high beam but m yet to meet someone in person who’s using it so have some doubts abt it! will it work for super oily skin? and since a very small amnt of it is needed does it have a long enough shelf life?

    1. i wouldnt suggest it to those with oily skin, parul. it is a very high shine highlighter and can make your skin oily. and does not have a long shelf life.

      thank you πŸ™‚

  10. Hey Rati!! Im not much of a video tutorial gurrl but you changed that today! Loved the ease with which you did makeup, especially eye makeup! I’ve done 2 MAC tutorials for smokey eyes, etc but have still been reluctant to try them *scared* *scared* ….but will definately do that now. Thanks for not making it over-complicated! *jai ho* *jai ho* Loved it! Hope to see many more tutorials! And agree with Mini, would love to hear your voice too! *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

And maybe one day you can do a makeup lesson with all your followers on skype or something!! One can wish, right?

    1. i dint get you… “done two mac tutes but still reluctant to try? ” *whistle*

thank you. :)) and who knows that might happen in future πŸ™‚

      1. MAC does these tutorials, they call them lessons where they teach you 2 looks….I’ve done those lessons twice – once in their Mumbai Pro outlet and once in their Chandigarh outlet. So learnt to do smokey eyes from them. But each time, they kind of use so many products (cause it is opportunity for sale of their new collection – which is what they use for the lessons – I realized this later) that they end up over-complicating it for you. So I never did try those looks on my own…was too reluctant. But the ease with which you smudged the kohl just goes to show that it can be un-complicated and isnt really rocket-science. I will definitely try it now! *puchhi* *puchhi*

  26. hey I agree with everyone. really very helpful. you’ve made it look so simple and it’s come out so well. would love to see you do more videos. And in one of the earlier posts you had mentioned the Lotus TM and the kajal and I promptly went and bought it. it’s working out very well. I love the TM. For my eyes, I use the oriflame body primer *whistle* and the not a primer specifically for my eyes, pressed powder, Lotus kajal and my ‘Body Shop’ liquid eye liner and my eyes are looking much better. Appreciate it much Rati..really!! *puchhi* *puchhi*

    1. so glad you liked it aruna. I actually quite like how light it feels on skin. I mean it could do away with the fragrance but once it’s on i like the finish of it. Have been using it non stop. πŸ˜€

  27. Lovely video.Looking absolutely pretty.I would surely try to learn some eye makeup skills from the video because I am an absolute novice when it comes to eye makeup.By the way,Rati can you plz. check the number and name of the lotus lipstick used in the video?I am dying to buy that lipstick but a little confused about the name.Is it ‘my peach’ or something like peach crΓ¨me or perky peach?I asked you the same question in your festive makeup tute but didn’t get any response from you.Plz. let me know.
