Method of Use:

Massage on face gently with finger tips in circular motion for 5-6 minutes.  Wash off with moist cotton.

(In each kilogram contains) Aloevera Tourn 15g, cucumis Sativus 3g, Sodii Biboras 7.5g, Glycerin 10g, Base 210g, Preservative 5g, Citrus limon 2g, Purified Water to make 1 kilogram.

My Experience with Khadi Aloe Vera Massage Cream:

This is the second and the last product I had picked from Khadi Herbal, somehow herbal skin care products do not seem to be working for me. I have tried massage gels before but had not tried any cream version as I always fear they would be too heavy for my oily skin and have a similar experience with this one as well.  The cream comes in a small tub packaging which came sealed with a black twist up cap, and is overall sturdy, though not very hygienic. The cream inside is white colored and has a slight green tint to it. The texture is thick, very creamy and moisturizing, a bit too much for my oily skin during the summers.

It has a very rich and emollient consistency and feels very nourishing on skin. It has a mild aloe vera fragrance to it. I feel it is best suitable for normal to dry skin and for oily skin it is suitable to be used only during winters. Also, due to the heavy texture, acne prone skin may suffer from breakouts.  The cream spreads easily on skin, does not get absorbed quickly and hence is very ideal for massaging.

As per the directions, I massaged my face with it for 5-7 minutes with damp fingers to ease the massaging movements and wiped it off with a damp cotton pad. After removing it, I felt there was a greasy feeling left behind and I had to follow up with a face wash, but if you have dry skin, then that should certainly not be a problem. It left my skin feeling nourished and soft to touch, and there was a subtle glow which may be due to massaging, there was a good calm feeling on the skin.  It does cleanse skin well, removing any superficial impurities. The slight glow lasted barely for a few hours only 😛

Overall, I would say it’s a pretty average product and you cannot expect much, especially at the inexpensive price that it comes at. I will have to wait for winters to use it 😛 I do not think skin care products from this brand seem to be working well for me, especially the ones meant to be used on the face 😛

• Spreads easily and is ideal for massaging.
• Gives a temporary brightness to the skin.
• Claims to contain natural ingredients.

Cons of Khadi Aloe Vera Massage Cream:

• Not suitable for oily skin, especially during the hot summer months.
• May cause acne or clog pores on acne-prone skin due to slightly heavy and rich texture.
• Unhygienic tub packaging.

Would I Recommend Khadi Aloe Vera Massage Cream?

This is definitely not a must-have product for me as it did not work well for my oily skin, but if you have dry skin, then you will really like it especially due to its nourishing properties.
