Khadi Cocoa Herbal Lip Balm Review

Hello Ladies!!!
For crazy people like us we are always short of stuff. We never have enough clothes, or enough matching sandals, or enough jewelry to match our new clothes, or even enough bags to complement our dresses and moreover enough makeup stuff. This is a daily situation for me and my needs and wants are never ending. I always tease my husband saying that there are so many wives who pester their husbands for diamond rings and expensive stuff. My needs are so small, maybe a bag, some junk jewelry, a lipstick probably. Then he says that although your needs are small the frequency is very high as compared to others, hehe. 😉

My Experience with Khadi Cocoa Herbal Lip Balm:

The lip balm comes in a small plastic transparent jar. The cap works on a screw on mechanism. Although the packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly I would still be careful of not dropping it. There is a sticker band around the circumference of the jar mentioning all its details. The name of the balm is mentioned on a paper sticker on the cap of the jar. Also the price and manufacturing date are mentioned at the bottom of the jar.

The skin on our lips is very delicate and requires hydration and moisturization all day long. Cocoa comes in a tempting mango yellow color. The texture is very creamy and soft and the application is very smooth. It glides on the lips very easily and gives a little glossy finish. Coming to the fragrance since its cocoa I thought it might smell a little like dark chocolate or strong coffee beans but this one is an absolute opposite. When I was small there used to wet wipes called Fresh Ones. This lip balm smells exactly like that. Very strong fragrance indeed. But for this one I noticed that the fragrance fades away in an hour or so.

Khadi Natural Cocoa Lip Balm

Although the company claims that this lip balm is colored it is more of being transparent when applied on lips. Hence no coverage for pigmented lips. The lip balm is very light on lips and in no way greasy or sticky. Cocoa is also very hydrating and moisturizes the lips for around 3 hours before a second application is required. It definitely does not work on chapped lips. Although it softens dried lips but nothing more than that. We are prone of ingesting the lip balms and these being organic there is no issues with it. Being in a pot it’s unhygienic as we have to dip our fingers again and again for application.
