Khadi Herbal Neem and Tulsi Face and Body Wash Review

Khadi Herbal Neem and Tulsi Face and Body Wash Review

Hello IMBBians 🙂

As I mentioned in my previous post, in my bid to buy products of Indian made, I purchased some Khadi and Patanjali products. This face and body wash is one among them. I seem to love all of the products I bought, and I was never happier. Herbal and friendly ingredients, decently priced; what more can I ask! Let’s see how this one faired.

My Take on Khadi Herbal Neem and Tulsi Face and Body Wash:

As we all know, Khadi’s obvious packaging ‘Oh-so boring’ same old bottle with a black screw cap, with a flip on top, which is not too sturdy. Quite travel friendly but somewhat bulky I feel. Nothing fancy about the packaging. The product appears to be a funky bright green colored liquid from the bottle; when taken out it is a quite toned down green. The texture is neither runny nor too thick. Since this contains neem and tulsi, I did expect it to have some herbal-y fragrance to it; I was totally right on that part. It has a very strong aroma of neem that is overpowering.

I almost fainted when I used it first 😀 I feel if they’d add some tulsi scent it’d been balanced. Sensitive nosed beauties, please stay away from this if you don’t admire such herbal-y aromas. But the good thing is that the aroma doesn’t linger too long; it vanishes after about 15 minutes post bath. My nose got used to it after 2-3 washes. A small amount on the loofah lathers very well and the bottle would come a long way. Rinsing it off was a task, my skin kept feeling slippery. Even on my face, it kept feeling slippery. I wonder if it is SLS paraben free, as the complete ingredient list is in the dark. It did not dry out my skin at all, since it is enriched with a combination of various oils. It claims to prevent pimples, not make the ‘already present’ ones vanish; pity. Worth a try though. 🙂
