Khadi Herbal Pure Jasmine Moisturizer

Hi everybody,

I was searching for herbal shampoos online. I ordered 1 khadi shampoo and 1 organix shampoo that were reviewed on IMBB. Ah well, the addict online shopper in me could not be satisfied in 2 things. So, I ordered couple of more things, some from khadi brand and some from other brands. This moisturiser was one of those buys. Read on to know how it fared on me.

Khadi Herbal Pure Jasmine Moisturizer

Price: INR 100 for 210 ml

Product description: jasmine’s oil and fragrance are both very good for skin. The oil tones dry skin and removes wrinkles while the exotic fragrance calms you down and lifts your mood.

Directions:

Massage face, neck and nape in an upward motion for at least two to three minutes. Use twice daily.
Ingredients: aqua, jasmine, wheat germ oil, neem, honey, glycerine, aloe vera.

My experience with Khadi Herbal Pure Jasmine Moisturizer

It comes in the typical khadi transparent plastic bottle with a black cap. The lotion is pure white in color. There is neither anything fancy nor bad about the packing. Also, because khadi products come at a cheap price, I do not expect a five star packaging from them. This can be or cannot be carried in the purse, depends on you. For me, I would definitely not carry this in the purse, I like keeping my hand bag very light.

Though it is a face moisturiser, I bought it to use as a body lotion. The lotion comes in a medium consistency- neither thick nor runny. Let me be specific- for oily girls it cannot serve as a summer lotion, they can only use it in winters. For normal skinned girls, it serves as a lotion for both summer and winter season. For dry skinned girls, it will serve for only summers or the current months, not in winters.

The fragrance is exactly like a bunch of jasmine flowers, not even 1% of difference. Now it is up to you whether you like jasmine’s fragrance or not. I have no hate-no love kind of relationship with this fragrance when applied fresh. After an hour and a half, the fragrance settles down and it is awesome at this time. I cannot describe exactly how it smells but it is captivating for sure. It stays the same for another 4-5 hours. So fragrance wise, if you like jasmine, this moisturizer is really good.

Coming to the moisturising part, the moisturising effect stays for good 5-6 hours. It is pretty apt for a lotion with such consistency.Price wise, it is obviously good. Also, since it is herbal, it kind of gives us satisfaction that we are not overloading our skin with chemicals.

Why you should pick up Khadi Herbal Pure Jasmine Moisturizer

• It moisturises well for 5-6 hours.
• Lovely fragrance.
• Fragrance gets better with time and lasts for long too.
• Decent pricing.
• Herbal ingredients.
• Easily available.

Why you should not pick up Khadi Herbal Pure Jasmine Moisturizer

• If you do not like jasmine fragrance.
• If you have very dry skin.
• It would not serve good for winters except if you have oily skin.

Will I repurchase khadi herbal moisturiser pure jasmine?

No, I would explore other fragrances in the range.

Will I recommend khadi herbal moisturiser pure jasmine?

If you want medium consistency moisturisers and you like jasmine fragrance, you should definitely go for it.

IMBB rating: 4/5

Until next time, take care!
