Khadi Natural Almond Cleansing Lotion

I wanted a good non-foaming cleanser, I came across this Khadi cleanser. This cleansing lotion claims deep cleansing of skin pores and discouraging blackheads.

An ayurvedic skin cleanser which help to deep cleaning the skin pores and discourages blackhead.

My Experience with Khadi Natural Almond Cleansing Lotion:

This cleansing lotion is white in colour and has cream-like consistency. It penetrates into the skin and undoubtedly  it cleanses well but I don’t know why it has a weird smell (like some shaving cream). It doesn’t smell good, I would say sniff before you buy because I do have a sensitive nose. As mentioned, I massage it on my face and neck and wipe it with moist cotton but I need to wash my face with plain water as the moist cotton fails to remove the product properly. The product cleans really well but somehow the smell bothers me a lot.

It is true to its claims of deep pore cleansing and keeping blackheads at a bay, I don’t get a whole lot of blackheads but it effectively reduced some little blackheads I had. It requires just a pea-sized amount of the product so this will last long.

Yeah.. I can remove waterproof makeup in just 2 swipes (effortlessly). Even matte long stay lippies fade to a good extend in a single swipe.

Will I recommend Khadi Natural Almond Cleansing Lotion?

Ya, I should say sniff and then buy. It’s a nice cleanser.

Shall I buy Khadi Natural Almond Cleansing Lotion again?

No, the smell bothers me a lot.

nice review.. do we hav to use a facewash again after using this.. what is the difference between cleansing lotion and a face wash. can facewash be substituted with a cleansing lotion?

yashika February 28, 2013 at 2:49 pm

no u dont have to use a face wash after a cleanser, cleanser is basically for cream based cleansing..its removes dirt really well..
cleaning is it with cleanser or face wash but i personally feel cleanser cleans called deep pore cleansing

Chandana, cleanser is good for dry skin but if you have oily skin, you should stick to face washes.
