Khadi Natural Soya Protein Shampoo Review

Hey Friends,

Hope you all are having a great time!

Recently I visited the salon for hair massage. I got shocked by seeing the plight of my hair! I had been experiencing hair fall after my delivery but never took it seriously until the guy who was oiling my hair showed me the cluster of hair! I was literally terrified! If this is the pace of hair fall, then in no time ill be left with no hair . He also commented saying that my hair has become dry and the hair quality has deteriorated drastically. He knows my hair as I have been visiting him for the past 2 years. This just raised the alarm and I knew that something needs to be done!

Khadi Natural Soya Protein Shampoo Review

I wanted a natural and herbal product, so thought of trying this newly launched shampoo and conditioner from Khadi Naturals. It is from their Soya Protein Range. I have always heard about the goodness of soya protein for hair strengthening. So I went and bought these two. Today I’ll be reviewing the Shampoo and will be reviewing the conditioner in a separate post.

Product Description:

This antiseptic hair cleanser, enriched with natural protein, penetrates hair shafts & nourishes the scalp. It adds body & luster of hair.

My Experience with Khadi Natural Soya Protein Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in the regular Khadi Naturals Packaging. It’s a transparent plastic bottles with a flip open black colored cap. For extra protection from leakage an extra cap is provided which u can remove once you start using the product. Name of the shampoo and variant is printed in black in the front. Other information like ingredients, price etc. is printed at the back panel of the shampoo. The bottle can be easily carried in your vanity kit as it is medium sized.

The color of the shampoo is off white and has a creamy consistency. It has a very nice fragrance which I am unable to identify. The fragrance doesn’t last long and does not irritate sensitive nose.

The shampoo is easy to spread on wet hair and lathers well. It can be washed easily with water and does not leave behind soapy lather. The texture of the shampoo is smooth and silky. It cleanses hair well.

Coming to the benefits of it, I bought it in the first place because of the presence of soya extract, green tea, Aloe Vera, basil and various other herbs. It works well on my dried out dull hair, Doesn’t make them frizzy. I use it along with the soya protein conditioner which helps in controlling the frizz I guess. I have been using it for 20 days now. I can’t say that hair fall has completely stopped but yes, I can see some difference in hair fall.
P.S. I use the shampoo twice a week.
