Khadi Orange and Lemongrass Herbal Face Wash Review

Hello!
It is November already and 2015 passed at the blink of an eye! Celebrating New Year 15 is still afresh in my memory. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I shopped some random stuff for my birthday and this is one among the lot. It was a while since I got Khadi stuff. Winter is on and my skin is becoming dry so I’ve been using this for a while now.

My Take on Khadi Orange and Lemongrass Herbal Face Wash:

I’ve been really happy with most of the Khadi products till now, not all though. But the bottle always fails to impress me. I’ve empty bottles stacked on a shelf and it looks all really boring. I’d go on about the bottle, but let’s save some time here. The product comes in a typical Khadi bottle with nothing spectacular about it.

The face wash looks orange from the bottle which is soothing for the eyes 😛 But it is almost colorless when it is out of the bottle. It has a very refreshing aroma of lemongrass and orange, the former being more significant. The consistency is neither too runny nor thick. A tiny amount of the product will suffice for the entire face and neck.
It lathers really well and cleanses effectively all the dirt and grime. When I pat my skin dry I can feel that it hasn’t dried my skin at all, making it feel stretchy. At first the description was confusing as it said ‘for dry skin’ at the front sticker and ‘best for oily skin’ in the benefit section.

The ingredients are meant for oily skin though. My skin tends to be oily at times, but at the same time it gets dry due to cold. This face wash balances it out. I cannot say that it eliminates the dryness completely after I wash but it does control the oil. I’d need a moisturizer post cleansing. One thing I noticed is that it takes some effort to completely rinse it off as it keeps feeling slimy and soapy.
I like the ingredient list, the aroma which is invigorating and its effectiveness. I think it is a good one; the bottle is huge and it’ll last me for ages.
