My Experience with Kiko #109 Blue Colour Kajal:

Packaging:
Kiko #109 Blue Colour Kajal is basically a normal pencil packed in a cardboard carton. The color of the pencil matches the shade it represents. The cap holds on the tube securely and hence will not open on its own. It is sleek, compact and very travel friendly. The ingredients are mentioned on the back of the cardboard carton and the shade number is written on the top. The shade number is also mentioned on the body of the pencil. Although, the name mentioned on the website is nowhere to be seen on the pencil or the cardboard carton.

#109 is a true navy blue shade. It has absolutely no shimmers and is completely matte. It is very similar to ink color. The texture of the pencil is very creamy and soft. It applies very smoothly on the water line without any tugging or pulling. However, one thing I noticed is that if you put a lot of pressure on the pencil, while applying it might crumble a bit.

Kiko claims it to be a kajal for inside the eyelid, but one can use it on the lash line as well. Remember not to apply too much pressure. The best part about these pencils that I like in comparison to the twist up ones is that you can sharpen them whenever the tip gets blunt and get that precise lining you love.

It is very well pigmented and you can see from the swatches that there is not much difference between single and multiple swipes. The color gets deposited in single application. Also, it is much darker in single application on the lash line than on the waterline. The color can be darkened on the water line with multiple swipes. As it is creamy and soft, it does not hurt layering this kajal on the waterline.

It is not waterproof, but yes, one requires an eye makeup remover to get rid of it completely. Also, if you have a smudger then this kajal looks awesome, if you smudge it. Hence, it is not smudge proof either. It stays in place for about 4-5 hours, after which it starts fading and smudging. My eyes did not feel any irritation, while using this.

It is not very into your face kind of blue. It is very apt for blue smokey eyes. Loved it to the core.
