Kleancolor 04 Lush Petal American Chick Baked Blush/Bronzer Review

Today’s review will be on a baked blush/bronzer from Kleancolor. I was most excited for this product while shopping. Let’s see how it fared for me.

Product Description:

My Experience with Kleancolor 04 Lush Petal American Chick Baked Blush/Bronzer:

Packaging:
This one comes in a black and transparent plastic packaging. The lid fits perfectly, opening and shutting with an audible click. The packaging looks a bit flimsy though. The details are printed all over the packaging in black, white and silver. You can easily spot the product due to the transparent lid. The packaging looks very similar to the baked eye shadows from this ‘American Chick’ range. But this one is bigger than the eye shadows.

Colour:
The shade ‘Lush Petal’ obviously cannot be used as a blush or a bronzer. I bought it to use as a highlighter. I’ve been loving highlighters a lot now a days, so I bought this as soon as I saw one. I thought it would be nice pink and silver coloured highlight, but it turned out to be a golden highlight. But none the less, it looks absolutely gorgeous. It is pigmented decently and is very buildable. You need at least 2 swipes to get a prominent colour. Also, this range has about 8 shades.

Texture:
As the name says, it is a baked product. The texture on touching the pan, isn’t that smooth. But the powder is really very finely milled. It isn’t powdery or chalky. There is little to no fallout from the pan. You do need a good brush to spread it evenly on the highest points of your cheeks as it is a tiny bit difficult to blend. Also, you don’t feel the shimmer since it is finely milled.

Staying power:
It stays on me for 4 hours. It is very low considering the products from this range have better staying power. You do need touch-ups every 3 hours. Since I love this shade so much, I’m willing to touch up. But for occasions and events, it can be replaced with a product that stays on for longer.

• Can’t be used as a blush or a bronzer
• Low staying power
• Needs touch-ups every 3 hours
• Slightly difficult to blend

Verdict:
It is a nice product, but I wouldn’t repurchase this shade because it isn’t a very unique shade. I might try out other shades from this range.
