Today’s review will be on a multipurpose product from Kleancolor. However, I do wonder who would use a black pencil for lips. Anyway, let’s get started with the review!

My Experience with Kleancolor Black Retractable Waterproof Lip/Eyeliner:
Packaging: It comes in a retractable packaging. This kind of packaging is good because you get sharp tip at all times, but most people prefer sharpenable pencils for hygienic reasons. The packaging is minimalistic with just the product details written on it. There are a bunch of shades to choose from and it also has a colour-coded tip for easy identification of color. The cap fits perfectly and shuts with a click. You can throw it in your purse without worrying about it opening up and creating a mess in your bag.
Color: I choose the shade “Black” because we girls are always running out of kajals. It’s one makeup product for which we need to have backups! 😛 With one swipe, you get a pretty nice pigmentation, but I like to swipe it twice to get a more intense black color; it isn’t as black as I would prefer. In the swatch, it looks a little brown too. I would have preferred a more intense black, but this one is good too.
Texture: This pencil has the creamiest texture. It is very smooth and glides on like a dream. It doesn’t tug even on dry lids, it goes on so smoothly. It isn’t smudge proof however. It does smudge, but not a lot. It isn’t that waterproof though. I mean if you just keep the swatched area under water, nothing will happen, but if you rub even a bit, it will wash out.
Staying Power: It stayed on me for a long time though. I had applied it at 11 am in the morning and at 8 pm, it was still there, just a bit light and a wee bit smudged, but nothing that looked terrible or even bad. I am happy with the staying power, because most kajals don’t survive a nap, but this one did and it did not give me panda eyes!
