My Experience with Kleancolor Femme Lipstick 06 Fiesta:
The packaging of the lipstick is average. The lipstick body has a feminine curvy shape. But the lipstick tube looks kind of flimsy. The only thing that I liked about this lipstick packaging is, its color-coded body that helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash during rush hours. The clear cap helps to see the lipstick shade form outside only. The cap fits tightly and makes the lipstick travel friendly.
A part of the lipstick bullet remains outside the tube; hence I need to be a little careful while placing the cap, else it may damage the bullet. One more thing that I disliked about the packaging of all the Kleancolor lipsticks is, that the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I have got these online, almost the entire collection had the same problem and I had received the damaged lipstick bullets. So, I had reshaped the bullets for convenient use.
The shade “Fiesta” is described as a plum lip color. It is perfect for every Indian skin tone. It is actually a perfect shade for the fall. But, it looks more magenta on my lips. It has a lovely creamy finish. There are no shimmers or glitters in the lipstick. It has lovely pigmentation. One swipe delivers good amount of color to the lips. I just need a second swipe to even out the edges. It perfectly hides my pigmented lips and gives a perfect opaque color to the lips.
The lipstick is very creamy and smooth in nature. It glides on the lips like a dream, without any tugging or pulling of the lips. It feels so soft and creamy on the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels very comfortable on the lips. It does not feel any sticky or heavy on the lips. The lipstick has a creamy texture that makes it transfer heavily. The formula is slightly moisturizing. My lips stay moisturized for some 2-3 hours and my lips tends to get dry after a while. The formula is not very moisturizing and hydrating in nature. It does not provide any nourishment to the lips.
The wear time of this shade is better than the others. It lasts for some 5 hours easily, with a little fading. It survives meals easily but the color smudges from the corners after having a full meal. It settles into the fine lines of the lips at the end and leaves a dark pink stain on the lips that is difficult to remove.
