Korres Sunflower and Evening Primrose Long Wearing Eyeshadow – Pink

Hey All,

I have three reviews back to back and all are from Korres eye kit. I have already reviewed Korres Eye Pencil in Brown color and now I am going to Review Korres Eye Shadow in Evening Primrose color.

While I was not quite impressed with the eye pencil, I am in love with the eye shadow. I wish I can get the whole collection of their eye shadows. These are just awesome.

Product Description:

Velvety, easy to apply pressed eyeshadow, with sunflower and evening primrose oils that care for the delicate eye area.

My Take on Korres Sunflower and Evening Primrose Long Wearing Eyeshadow – Pink:

I love this eye shadow. It is a lovely pink shade that has a bit of coral undertone. This is a shade that would suit everyone alike. I am so impressed with this. First, the shade is very flattering, particularly for my dusky-medium skin tone. It is a light pink color.

It stays on comfortably for about 5-6 hours on my eye lids with a primer, that too when I have oily eye lids. I am sure dry eye lids can hold the color for longer hours.

Packaging is another plus. It comes in a cute, small black box kind of packet. But sadly, there is no mirror and nor any applicator! :( Probably this is the only negative. Coming to the quality, these are quite pigmented and velvety soft and smooth in texture. Best thing is that it does not get cakey and nor does it crease on the lid. It stays just the way you apply it and when it starts to fade off, it does that evenly and gradually. So, at the end of the day, you notice a very light, mild layer of color which at longer hours becomes a layer of no color.

This eye shadow also blends very well. I am a novice in applying eye shadows, but I did not find any problem at all with this one. It was so convenient to apply this. I am also very impressed with the fact that this is formulated without petro chemicals and still it gives a long lasting, pigmented color which can be quite challenging with just natural ingredients.

Though since the shade is light, the pigmentation does not seem to be quite pigmented.

Like in the swatch below you, can see that shade is not visible on the right eye as it is exposed to light, but you can see the shade on the left eye in less light (please excuse the poor swatch, my daughter wanted the brush more than I needed it and right now she has all the brushes in her lap :P), so whatever I could apply or do, I did!

But let’s not forget that this eyeshadow never caused any irritation to my sensitive eyes! So, I am thankful for this.

All in all, I love this eye shadow for the pretty shade that it brings and second for the quality with the nature’s goodness.

Pros of Korres Sunflower and Evening Primrose Long Wearing Eyeshadow – Pink:

  • Quite pigmented, though the shade is a pretty light pink color.
  • Very flattering shade.
  • Long lasting.
  • Lovely packaging.
  • All natural ingredients.
  • Did not cause any irritation to eyes.

Cons of Korres Sunflower and Evening Primrose Long Wearing Eyeshadow – Pink:

  • No applicator included :(
  • Availability and yeah, this can be a little pricey as well.
