Kryolan Lip n’ Cheek – Lily Review

I still have quite a few products to review which I got from Kryolan Chennai. I went there to buy loads of lipsticks, but many of them were out of stock so I bought one of these, just to try out first. So, liquid lipsticks are the rage right now and this is a liquid lipstick which can also be used as blush. Read on to find out how this fared .

Product Description:
Lip N’ Cheek is a water resistant cream that colors lips and cheeks with a natural touch.

Price and Packaging:
Okay, so the price of Rs. 500 for this product can be a bit steep for some people. We get only 10 ml of product; but as I am able to use it as blush as well as a lipstick, I am pretty satisfied. It is a good thing as we would be able to finish it and buy more products for ourselves 😛 It comes in a tube packaging which is really very simple and boring; that is the problem with Kryolan 🙁 Why?? Why can’t they make their products look appealing?? I am so bored of the dull packaging of Kryolan that sometimes I do not feel like buying anymore from them even though they make awesome stuff.

My Take on Kryolan Lip n’ Cheek – Lily:

I am going to review this product in two ways, first as a lip product and then as cheek product.

As a Lipstick: Okay, so as a liquid lipstick it is a great product. It has absolutely no smell or fragrance; now I want to mention something here; usually Kryolan products smell very weird; this one doesn’t but I am not sure about the other shades of this range, so please check it before buying. The consistency of the product is not very thick, but is very creamy and thick enough to cover my lips in 1-2 swipes. My lips is not very pigmented, so girls who have very pigmented lips might need more than two swipes of this. It settles to a matte finish after 2 minutes of application.

As it is a very light shade, one may need more than 2-3 swipes, but I am sure this will not happen with the darker shades. This particular shade will not suit dusky beauties at all. It washes me out badly, I will have to mix it with some darker lip product. It is a very light baby pink color. It has a great staying power of up to 6 hours or may be more. It does not feather at all and does not crumble when comes in contact with water.

As a Blush:
I bought this for my lips only, so to be able to use it as a blush was sone pe suhaga for me:) I do not wear blushes much and even if I do, I wear matte blushes. This is a really soft pink color for my cheeks; which I love 🙂

It gives a very soft flush to my cheeks which is amazing. My skin looks healthy when I use it as a blush. It is very light in color so it may not show up that much for dark-skinned beauties and they can definitely skip this shade. I use it with a small stippling brush and it blends into my skin beautifully. Even if I get a lot of product out, it blends really nicely. It is a nice shade to own. The staying power as a blush is also really good; it stays for around 4-5 hours at least.

Pros of Kryolan Lip n’ Cheek – Lily:

• Price is okay for me.
• Staying power is good.
• Travel-friendly
• Two in one use
• Not tested on animals
• Suited my purpose really well
• Settles in to a matte finish
• Looks amazing as a blush for me

Cons of Kryolan Lip n’ Cheek – Lily:

• Will not suit dark skinned beauties at all
• Some may find this pricey
• Availability

Will I Re-purchase Kryolan Lip n’ Cheek – Lily?
No, but I will definitely try some other shades.

Last Word:
You can definitely try this if you are fair but skip this if you have dusky complexion.
