Kryolan Professional LC107 Lipstick Review

So, it has been really long since I last wrote on IMBB. I went for my LASIK surgery in Chennai. After that, we went to Mumbai and did a lot of shopping there. 🙂 I was very excited after seeing the collection of Kryolan Lipsticks that Raeesa owns. 😉 I purchased this lipstick from Kryolan Chennai. In fact, I have bought a lot of makeup, but most of it has already been reviewed here. Today, I am going to review the shade LC 107 from their ‘Lipstick Classic’ range.

Product Description:

Lipstick with a proven formulation, including vitamin E to stimulate the skin’s repair mechanism, Lipstick Classic produces a matt impression and is known for its good durability. ECARF certified.

Pro Tip:

Take any lip color and add Supracolor 070 for a softer effect, or apply Supracolor 071 to red lips to create a burgundy look. These classics can also be used on cheeks as a blusher.

My Experience with Kryolan Professional LC107 Lipstick:

The packaging of the product is nice. The cap closes with a click sound, nothing extraordinary. But, it is travel friendly. The lipstick case is silver and has a mirror kind of thing on the cap that can be used for application when you do not have a mirror handy. I like this concept, but I still do not find the packaging very attractive.

The formula of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy. It glides on my lips very easily. It does not settle into fine lines of my lips. It gives a matte finish after around 10 minutes of application and I love that. It does not feel heavy on my lips. I do get a feeling that I am wearing a lipstick, but it is not very heavy.

The staying power is good 5-6 hours and after that, it fades evenly. It does not survive meals, but there is a beautiful stain left behind post a meal. Now coming to the pigmentation, it is amazing, guys! With just one swipe, I get the color I want. But, with two swipes, I get full opacity. I am sure this will be good for pigmented lips. This color of this lipstick is a pinkish-orange that I love because I do not own anything like this. It is not a very wearable shade for day-to-day basis, but it is perfect for occasional wear. The one thing that bothers me a lot regarding this particular shade is its weird smell that fades away after long thirty minutes of application.

No, not this particular shade, but I would love to try other shades from Kryolan.

As you can make out from the swatches, the shade is really beautiful. You can buy this one if you are looking for bold lips, but not something over the top. Do try this shade on your next Kryolan visit.
