Today, I will be reviewing one of my favourite lip products from my stash. Kryolan is one of my favourite brands and I love lip stains due to their long-lasting matte finish and full coverage. So, a lip stain from Kryolan will definitely win my heart. I am using this product since the last 3-4 months and finally I am ready to review this amazing product. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with Kryolan Rock Lip Stain:
The product comes in the usual blue Kryolan paper carton (I threw that away on the very first day). It has all the details of the product in it. The lip stain comes in a glass tube with a silver cap. The cap has the Kryolan logo embossed in it. The glass tube is transparent, so you can easily identify the product in your stash. The shade name is mentioned in the bottom of the tube.
The round, slim, spongy applicator brings out the right amount of product every time. You need to build up the colour slowly and that is okay as there is a high chance of going overboard. I need to bring out the product thrice to get a complete coverage on my heavily pigmented lips. Also, the shape helps to apply the product precisely which is again important as it is a stain and removing it can be tough if it gets applied outside the lip line.
“Rock” is a beautiful neutral-toned red shade that will suit everyone. This is the kind of colour that Indian brides prefer on their wedding day. It instantly brightens up the face and shifts the focus from any other imperfection. So, if you have a party to attend after a long tiring day, this lip colour can be your savior.
It has a faint chemical fragrance that fades away as soon as you apply it, so that is definitely not a concern.
The product is absolutely lightweight on lips. It has a smooth, soft and non-sticky kind of finish. I love how it glides on the lips and gives complete coverage without giving any cakey feel. It gives complete coverage to even the super pigmented lips. It does not make the lips dry. However, I always apply a lip balm beneath as it has no moisturizing quality of its own. Also, I use a lip liner to get perfectly defined shape.
This stays on and on without any transfer or smudging. It does not settle into fine lines and never flakes. It is food-proof (even the oily spicy Indian food cannot do any harm), water-proof and even kiss-proof! So this product is must on those special, romantic date nights. :p You will need a good oil-based makeup remover to remove this and after removing, the lips feel a little dry. I use glycerin to remove this product and then treat the lips with Boroline.

Cons of Kryolan Rock Lip Stain:
- Very tough to remove.
- Expensive.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Kryolan Rock Lip Stain?
This is the most beautiful red shade I have ever seen. So as long as I do not find something equally good, I will definitely repurchase it. If you want to have at least one shade from the range, this should be the one.
