Makeup, something a woman can’t do without! Can we even think of going out without using at least one makeup product on our face? And from the time I have added Kryolan blushes to my vanity; they have become that integral part of my makeup routine. I have raved about these blushes and still continue to do so. How I wish Kryolan opens its store in my city, so that I can easily add more products to my already huge vanity 😉

So today I will be reviewing Kryolan Dry Rouge Blusher in the Shading Red.

Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin. The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis.

My experience with Kryolan Shading Red Dry Rouge Blusher:

Kryolan blusher comes in a gray cardboard box that hold all the details like ingredients, price and expiry date pertaining to the product. The box opens to reveal the gray blush pan with a transparent lid having the Kryolan mask symbol and hologram authenticity sticker stuck on it. The transparent lid enables you to spot the shade easily in your makeup stash. The lid closes securely with a click mechanism, making it travel-friendly. It doesn’t come with an in-built mirror or applicator. The shade name is mentioned on the bottom of the pan along with the expiry date, so you need not retain the outer carton box to check on the expiry date. The packaging on the whole looks very dull and boring.

Shading Red is a gorgeous orange blush with absolutely no shimmer or sheen. It is such a beautiful shade that can look perfect and natural for the day time and glamourous for the night. This warm color will flatter each and every skin toned beauty and will brighten up the face without looking over the top. This shade has no annoying shimmer in it, so all the ladies who love matte makeup will surely love this.

The texture of this blush is really soft and smooth. Despite being a powder blusher, it has a really smooth and soft texture that feels really buttery and creamy. The powder is finely milled and doesn’t feel chalky and on swirling the blush on the pan, you don’t notice any major fall outs. This soft texture makes the blending process of the blusher very easy.

The blush is awesomely pigmented, one swipe is all you need to get the colour on your cheeks. The blush blends like a breeze, leaving a lovely flush of colour. You can layer on the blush to build up the intensity, but be careful not to pick up a lot of product as you might land up looking like a clown. The color when layered doesn’t get streaky.

The colour lasts for a good 4-5 hours on the cheeks with slight fading that happens gradually and evenly. It doesn’t get patchy through the course of the day and doesn’t settle into the dry areas of the skin either.
