L.A. Girl Pecan Lip Liner Pencil Review

My Experience with L.A. Girl Pecan Lip Liner Pencil:

This lip liner comes in a sharpen-able pencil form. It’s a color-coded pencil that’s sleek and lightweight. The lip liner pencil is black in colour and comes with a black cap that closes tightly and ensures that it will not make your handbag messy. Pecan is a true brown-colored lip liner with a matte finish. It does not contain any shimmer.

This shade looks pretty when you wear it as a lip color and gives the impression that you have worn a nice matte lipstick. The texture of this lip liner is disappointing, just like the other lines from LA Girl. The formula is extremely drying and does not glide on the lips easily. So, it is better to apply a lip balm underneath, otherwise you will end up hurting your lips.

 

Though, the texture is better than L. A. Girl Cabaret Lip Liner, but still, it is drying in nature. It tugs and pulls on the lips badly. It does not keep my lips moisturized at all. The color clings to the dry patches of the lips and makes them appear tacky. It settles into the fine lines of the lips. These lip liners are intensely pigmented. A single swipe is good enough to impart perfect colour to the lips, too much layering is not required.

The staying power of this lip liner is 4-6 hours without having any meals. Overall, I did not like this lip liner because of its drying formula.

• No shimmer.
• Matte finish.
• Looks pretty when you wear it as a lip color.
• Good pigmentation.
• Staying power is good.

Cons of L.A. Girl Pecan Lip Liner Pencil:

• Drying texture.
• Does not glide on the lips easily.
• Tugs and pulls on the lips easy.
