This is my first ever makeup setting spray. When I first received it, I was surprised to see how tiny the bottle is. Nevertheless, I plan to use it only when I need to set my heavy makeup. The claims are tall, let us see if it works or not.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Pro Setting HD Matte Finish Setting Spray:
Although, I was not aware of what it should be compared to, I had my expectations out of it. I wore it on top of a full face of makeup with foundation and powder. I used 4-5 sprays, which gave me a very dewy finish. I was quite taken aback to notice my matte foundation had gone all dewy. It was a new experience for me, although they claim this has a matte finish.
The spray does not have any scent to it thankfully. The texture is very lightweight and it is not at all sticky. While you spray it, you might find it crème or foamy, but it sets your makeup in 5 sprays with a dewy glow.
I literally walked in the sun the day I wore it. The most promising thing that I noticed about the spray is that it does not make my foundation patchy on my oily areas, like the middle of the forehead, sides of the nose, or the laugh lines. My foundation looked very even toned and very light.
The cakey look of the foundation was concealed with this spray. Though I would say this helped my makeup look even, it looked like that for 5 hours or more. It faded into nothingness, without looking greasy due to using the spray over makeup. I noticed that my skin was looking less oily at the end of the wear time.

- Very tiny bottle, will get over in no time.
- Will sting eyes, so be careful.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase L.A. Girl Pro Setting HD Matte Finish Setting Spray?
Though it is not miraculous, I am happy with what I got out of this spray. Yes, I will recommend it for beginners.
