USD 4 but I got it for INR 225 from Gloshop, Chennai.
I never get tired of lipsticks and it is lipsticks like these that don’t let me come over my obsession. I love creamy, saucy, semi-matte, mild glossy lipsticks and thicker ones that coat the lips as compared to sheer ones. Today’s lipstick from LA Girl is one such lipstick I an unable to come off!
A couple of months back when I went to explore Inglot store at E.A mall here, I had to stop by Gloshop! To my delight they had these pretties all lined up on display and also some Orly nail colors. I rushed to see all the lippies as it was more like self-help rather than an SA bothering you.In any case, I always know more than the SA but this display was great to look at, due to how all the shadows were lined up and the tester were leading the way. Easy-peasy shopping when you have a hubby and toddler eating your brain away to hurry up!
I picked up three of these lipsticks and the one in Rendevouz and Inspiration have already been reviewed here. I have also reviewed Promise, check them out. This one is a typical doll pink with peachy undertones, very pretty shade indeed.
I love the simple young packaging and the click-lock thingy going on with these. I love how creamy and shimmer-free they are. They are buttery and smooth and they are the exact saucy texture I love, for that volume look it gives to the lips.
The lipstick is cruelty-free and very easy on the pocket if you get it from the states. The texture is ideal for dry lips as it is soft and smooth and does not dry out, the finish is glossy creamy.
Its a juicy lipstick, no shimmer or frost and I love the shade but it could be a little too young or bright form yellow skin tones,or on days when you look dull. This has to be paired with a pink blush or else all you can see on the face is this lipstick!
The lipstick has a mild chewing gum smell to it, nothing that bothers me. It is too soft and hence might bleed if you swipe it on and on. It is very pigmented and one swipe is enough to shape up the lips and give them oodles of volume.Since it is on the thicker side, it stays on and on for me.
On the down side, its a difficult color to pull off. Also,it is not fragrance-free. The lipstick might fade away and leave a very mild stain but none of this bothers me. Of course, availability is a major issue!
I love these creamy lippies as they have some great colors to offer. This one though has to be worn well or not worn at all. Get them if you find them, this is a very young color, great for fair complexions and college-goers.
